I want to bring to light the unlawful withholding of my deposit by **************************************************, managed by Cushman & Wakefield, requesting to receive a full $500 deposit refund. Contrary to ********** renter's law, ************************************************** kept my deposit for over ************************************************************ invoice for any deductions. During our move-out inspection, we were told that everything looked good. Attempts to communicate with property manager ************************* proved futile, marked by unprofessional behavior and dismissive responses. Ignoring our emails and denying knowledge of promised compensation, ******'s conduct left us frustrated. Additionally, a payment discrepancy arose when, after submitting a check as requested, we were asked for an extra payment due to an office error. Despite our prompt cooperation, ****** accused us of non-payment and even threatened eviction, revealing a lack of internal communication and professionalism. These incidents highlight the urgent need for improved management practices at **************************************************.Beyond communication issues, the apartment's poor quality and the neighborhood's drawbacks were evident. Outdated conditions, a lack of security measures, and initial unit problems like a leaking toilet persisted. Attempts to address issues were met with silence on water utility reimbursements. Overall, living conditions were unsatisfactory, emphasizing the need for substantial improvements at **************************************************.

I recently moved into ******************** on July 25th, the business has a 30 day satisfaction on their website I have sent multiple emails out and no one from management has bothered to email, call, text, to resolve the issue regarding transferring units. I has been seven days since the first email that was sent out and no one has updated me with anything. This is unprofessional and abuse of power.

    BBB unable to locate business
I moved into ****** ********** in ******************** in March 2022 and immediately acquired renter's insurance through ****** Since then, I have been wrongfully charged a supposed "Renter's Insurance Lease Violation Fee" of *** every month except for one (June). When I initially contacted ****** ******* the on-site property manager, in April and May, he was extremely apologetic both times and immediately credited back my account. He noted that it wouldn't happen again, yet this wrongful charge reappeared in July and has persisted every month since. Since August 11, I have sent multiple texts to ****** as well as an email to the ****** leasing office and have not heard back at all. On October 1, I finally removed my auto-pay information and paid only the portion of the balance excluding these charges. It is very possible that ****** Apartments, or the larger Cushman and Wakefield managing entity, is defrauding their residents everywhere with these wrongful charges and hoping that they slip by unnoticed. I have attached a complete record of all charges & payments, my ***** renter's insurance policy, text exchanges with ****** ******* and the email sent to the leasing office. At this point, I have lost all trust in this property management entity and am not only looking for a billing adjustment, but am also looking to break my lease penalty-free.

I have been unable to get the remainder of my deposit after moving out. The property, **** at ********* ***** under ******* and ********** is assessing me for a cleaning fee that was not included in my lease. I have been unable to reach a manager at the property to get a resolution. Upon ******* in my ***** the manager I was able to speak with that day, ****** let me know that due to the fee not being in the ***** ****** signed prior to *** owning the property), everything had been returned to when we moved in and another manager named ***** would be following up with me soon. This has been going on since ********** Recently, a temp in the office told me that we now owed the property money. When they send the account statement, there were a number of charges that did not add up, including an overcharge of utilities. I returned this letting them know of pervious discussions and now I have not gotten a response. I am reaching out hoping for assistance in getting a resolution and getting final documentation from the company.
