I am requesting a completely new engine to be installed in my vehicle which only had 45,000 at the time of the Manhattan Beach Toyota negligence. After Manhattan Beach Toyota failed to properly tighten my oil plug, which resulted in my vehicle operating at high speeds for 29 miles, I received pushback on repairs needed, threats to accept offered repairs, and after the repairs were completed, a 2nd oil leak occurred due to low quality work being completed by Manhattan Beach Toyota who had already made a mistake on my vehicle weeks earlier. I'm left to believe that the repairs and service completed at Manhattan Beach Toyota were dishonorable and unprofessional. I don't believe quality service was provided and doubt the quality of the repairs completed. At the very least, I deserve an engine warranty of 50,000 miles or 5 years to hold Manhattan Beach Toyota accountable for their doubtful work, which Manhattan Beach Toyota was unwilling to offer and stand behind their service. Manhattan Beach Toyota took advantage of a paying customer by withholding information, attempting to confuse/talk around repairs, and treated me with unethical customer service. General Manager ************* Service Director ************* Service Advisor ********* all attempted to pressure me into believing no damage was done to my vehicle after their negligence to quality control their work. As a paying customer at Manhattan Beach Toyota in Manhattan Beach, CA, I was guaranteed Toyota Certified Technicians, I received nothing more than dishonesty and unprofessionalism.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/12) */ Contact Name and Title: *************** Contact Phone: ************ Contact Email: ****************************** We left the oil plug loose when we serviced this vehicle and our Toyota Field Technician recommended we replace the bearings. The customer was not satisfied with this solution so the Service Director replaced the short block with a new one. The customer wants a new engine but a short block is the lower portion of the engine and an entire engine was not warranted, especially when the Toyota Field Rep thought replacing the bearings was the answer. We also professional cleaned and slurried the customers driveway. It is very unfortunate that the oil began to leak again when the car was driven up north. The customer sent us pictures showing us the leak. We paid another Toyota Dealer to completely fix the vehicle and we also cleaned his mom's driveway professionally. We are very sorry that this happened to this customer but we can not provide a 5 year 50K warranty as Toyota only provides a 1 year unlimited mile warranty. Please see the attached repair order.
