I had bought two 10 gallon propane tanks from Kamps many years ago. I would wager around 12 since after that amount of years is when the tank(s) need to be "recertified" obviously by an entity that has authority to do so.Kamps used to do this but has recently in the last couple years both stopped filling tanks and recertifying tanks.I went to another location (IGA in ********, **) to get the 10 gallon tanks filled and was informed they both needed recertification (this is how I learned about the 12 year recertification). At this time Kamps was no longer providing propane filling services at their business location. I knew this. I headed down the road to Kamps business location to see if they could at least recertify the tanks so I could get them filled elsewhere. I bought both 10 gallon tanks from their business so I figured there would be some arrangement we could arrive at. They told me (lady, forget her name), "we don't recertify 10 gallon tanks anymore." I asked where I could have the recertification completed. She stated probably ********** is the closest. This is quite far away..Immediately I found this to be ridiculous that I did business exclusively with Kamps for many years, buying tanks and getting refills. Then suddenly the tanks I purchased from them are obsolete due to a simple recertification process.I'm requesting assistance in getting some sort of compensation in exchange for the two used 10 gallon tanks (which I would also turn over to Kamps as I don't want to go through this again in another 12 years). There is nothing wrong with either 10 gallon tank. They either sat in one location being used on my property or rode in the back of my truck (with tie downs) to Kamps to be refilled.

I was being given a discount by ** the previous manager and now that has dropped off my account. I have called the new manager ********* 5 times and she will not return my call. I am a senior citizen and have been with kamps for over 20 years. Please help me.

On 12-8-21 ****** was paid $550.00 from the **** program through the Tuolumne ************* *****, for my propane usage. I have asked them each month since then to show my balances and payments on the monthly **** that they send me. I have a credit balance but they continue to send a **** that indicates that I owe them money for the current monthly ****. When I call them, I am told that they don't do the billing. And that's that. They need to show me a true and accurate balance on each billing, each month. They also tried to cheat me on returning my deposit when I moved here in 2015. I had to battle them at that time, as well, to get my money back in a timely manner, that is, when it was due. I also feel that charging a deposit is unethical because there is no equipment, such as a tank at my place. I am living in a senior mobile home park that has the spaces all piped in by ******. I am a disabled and ill senior, single woman. I do not need the trouble and frustration of continually having to make these people do what is right, what they should be doing as normal business procedures. (One year they also billed me exactl the same for several months in a row. I saw their man walk by my place and did not read my meter at all. When I talked to them about that, they kept giving me a bunch of bull until I finally gave up because I could no longer take the stress.) I am diagnosed with a potentially life threatening disease and should not have to suffer with this kind of treatment. I also wonder how many other vulnerable senior citizens they are trying to cheat. Please help me get a true and accurate statement each month from ****** Propane. Thank you.
