Purchased a vehicle 2021 Chevrolet Colorado 63k miles 7/17/2024 on 7/21/2024 the vehicle broke down on the freeway check engine light came on entire car lit up. I was almost hit while driving because the car was jerking and came to a stop. When i told the owner he sold me a dangerous vehicle that put others in danger including me he laughed and said any vehicle could do this. He lacks accountability and integrity. When I went back to return the vehicle the owner of this business ******** acted unprofessionally refused to accept the vehicle back and return my money. Instigated fights and laughed at my partner and mother for fighting for me to be able to return this vehicle. Were currently getting an attorney but we wished they wouldve resolved it the proper way, they sold us a defected vehicle. I have an un-driveable vehicle in the front of my house. This business is owned by fraudulent people. The owners definitely know the kind of cars they have on this lot. The manufacture warranty expired after 60k miles they knew this and sold us a vehicle with a defected transmission. If i had read reviews sooner on their website i wouldve never came here. They need to be held accountable for doing this to other buyers.

    Good afternoon,

We started getting repeated phone calls Sunday morning (07/21/24) from *********'s mother, wanting to return the truck they bought 4 days ago, she said the truck broke down and she just wants to return truck. We tried to explain to her that we can send a tow truck and pick the truck up to see what's going on with it, she refused to work with us and insisted on just retuning the truck. She started threatening us with police and lawyers if we didn't cancel the deal. We let her know that we cant cancel because since ********'s mom is saying the truck broke down, we would need to inspect truck first. She didn't like that and stated she will be coming to our office to bring back the truck,  a few hours later she shows up with *********, his dad and *********'s girlfriend. As soon as they walked in, we heard them say " THIS IS a Ghetto dealership, you guys are scams and you guys took advantage of my son". Our store Manager came out , and tried to deescalate the situation. The first thing the mother said is the she will call the police if we don't return back the truck. She proceeded to call the police and the dispatch on the other line said that this is a non emergency matter and they can't come out. She was furious when the police couldn't come out, that's when her husband rushed the store managers office and wanted to fight him, the family had to hold the dad back, and that's when *********'s girlfriend got in the store managers face and she threated him with violence and profanity. We did our best to explain to them, that their is no cooling off period in **, and they cant buy a car one day think they can return if after a dew days.. ********* was offered a cancelation option, which he refused. ********* didn't seem to have a problem with the purchase, the mother and girlfriend didn't allow him to speak the whole time, and when we tired to engage *********, his mother would respond. We finally explained to them that the truck has a warranty and they can have our shop or their shop of choice look into the problem they are saying it has. Attached below is the agreement ******** sign. We also have more proof available of the situation.

I purchased a car from Them one day and the second day the engine blew . I tried to ask them For help instead they failed to help me and the sales manager harrased me stating that I got so many people involved about the issue I was able to call the bank that financed me so that the car wasnt funded after all . But then the service manager said they werent going to give me my deposit because I had to hold accountability for the engine blowing on me in less than 24 hours of the purchase . I was able to get my trade in car back but they told me that they were keeping my deposit because I had to be held accountable for at least something .

    Dear *****,

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this issue to our attention. After reviewing the details provided, it appears that you left out a lot of information about your vehicle. We understand your frustration and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

However, Upon further investigation, you gave us a call letting us know that your car did not want to accelerate after adding fuel. You stated that you fuled up at ********************* ******* in ****** and once we towed it to our service department we did a diagnostic on the vehicle and took some fuel samples and we found that your fuel was diluted with other unknown substance that does not burn. We checked compression and found lowcompression on cylinder 1. We had to replace your fuel tank and hoses due to contamination. All this happened in the span of a 2 days.

Recent purchase : Purchase date -04/27/24 - Towed -in from chowchilla on 4/29/24. We presented three options after the diagnostic.

    1. Suggested to open an insurance claim for repair regarding
possible bad fuel from gas station. Customer declined.
    2. Presented customer assistance in repairing vehicle. First
customer agreed to paying out of pocket, we proceeded by ordering
engine and parts. During the wait period of figuring dollar amount
and how we were going to proceed with this matter, we provided a
loaner vehicle at no charge. Customer later declined option 2.
    3. Cancel purchase contract, return ***** trade vehicle with no
option of reimbursing down payment of $2,000 dollars. (Restocking
    Fee)
Customer chose option 3 May 9th, 2024@ 3pm. Picked up Trade
    (*****) and returned our loaner vehicle @ 5pm 5/9/24

We did our best to give you options regarding your incident. We provided a loaner vehicle at no charge during the time your car was at our shop. We followed standard procedure and found the contaminated fuel in your vehicle We presented options on how else we can serve you and you have declined some of our offers. We now have a vehicle that needs repair and that is why we feel it is right to hold the disputed amount that you are requesting.

    Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:

That is a lie because when they took the jeep back they only assumed it was the gas because a jeep mechanic gave them that idea . Also they told me that the jeeps engine wasnt fixable and those are not the options they gave me to begin with. The finance manger wanted to get me into another 2017 white ****** jeep and I declined that offer and after they heard the jeep mechanic from razzari say that the gas could of been contaminated they made those accusations and suddenly the jeep was fixable under a insurance claim. Also there was never no contract made I was able to call the financial company Santander consumer and they never funded the jeep because I wasnt satisfied with the jeep so the bank that was suppose to finance the jeep told me to ask for my trade in vechile back and for my deposit back since there was never no contract  made . Then after I went to go and ask for my trade in car and return there loaner the finance manger named guero came to the service center and yelled at me and threatend me to get me into another contract then what would I do after that ? They have the videos and audios of him disrespecting me because I was calling people for advice on this car I just purchased he got so unprofessional and said so many mean things to me that even the manager ****** from the service center had to apologize because in the middle of him telling me so many things he just left and did not fix the issue . He declined her call and left me without any results she then had to give me back the loaner the next day he called to apologize and offer me a lower rate on the jeep . I accepted his apology and told him I would think about his offer but the contract was  never funded so I do not understand what restocking fee there trying to charge me for ? Also the service manager ****** said if I didnt want to make an insurance claim to fix the jeep then I would have to pay ***** in a 6 months span and they would repair the jeep at all cost. I declined the offer and just asked for my trade in car back and my deposit and the finance manger ***** said he would give me my spare keys and a check the following day . Then when I went back for the check and spare key he didnt even tell me the service manager ****** just sent me a text saying they werent going to give me my deposit back . This is exactly what happen and maybe the managers just didnt tell the owners the truth about what really happen but I have all the proof of everything that happened on there surveillance videos .

    Dear *****,

To address your concerns we have the diagnostic to prove that the gas was contaminated. We have the contract you signed upon purchasing the vehicle and we also have the documentation of the options we gave you so we can try and assist you. At this point we have tried everything we can to help you in your situation but you have continued to decline our offers. This is a very unfortunate event but at this point we are left with a vehicle with a damaged engine. Which is why we require the $2,000 amount to pay for the damages made.

I purchased a vehicle thru western motors and got extended warranty. I took it in for a second time for a repair covered by the warranty and they refused to repair the car because they claimed it being in a fender bender collision which had nothing to do with the vehicle’s functionality. They offered to charge for the repair and after trying to arbitrate due to having the purchased warranty they refused to cooperate
