My dad ate the mini shrimp bao buns and taking a bite, he noticed a piece of plastic in the shrimp meat. He could have choked on this or serious health hazard. We would prefer an apology and refund for this situation.

On November 27th, 2024 I purchased the 12 days of scented candles product at the midtown, *******, ** location on ******. I was very excited because I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's candles but was very disappointed in the poor quality of the product. When smelling all the candles I ran into issues with almost all of them. Some candles, I was unable to get the lid back on the containers so it's just open or bent. Some candles, I had extreme difficulty getting the lid off, 2 of the 12 candles I have been unable to open completely despite my family and I's attempts. I do not have my receipt for this purchase or I would have attempted to return this faulty item. I am unsatisfied with the product. I would like to be refunded and request you make the changes necessary to improve the quality of this product. This is completely unacceptable and has changed my view on Trader Joe's as a whole.

Trader Joe's/ ******* ********* at the ********************, ** location denied my service animal. When I asked her how she made the assumption that my dog wasn't a service animal, she became defensive and rude. Instead of making it a big deal, I decided to leave store. I was followed by ******* and at one point, she accused me of stealing. I called and asked to file a complaint. I spoke with ***** who said I would have to call back tomorrow. He had no idea who the store manager was.

On 11/12 I attempted to return some cookies, a staff memberwhom I assumed was a manager or lead came over, leaned on the counter and bluntly asked, Why are you returning these? I replied, because they were horrible. He responded, Yes, because theyre a year old. I immediately felt accused and uncomfortable. I replied, No, theyre not, but he continued, Oh yes they are we havent sold those since last years holiday. I asked, Are you accusing me of having these for a year? and he responded, Yes.I felt humiliated as this unfolded in front of other customers, especially as he made it seem as if I were lying. The young lady who was assisting me with my purchase of other items even pointed out that the cookies werent old, yet he continued his questioning and inspection of the box. The entire exchange left me feeling utterly embarrassed, as if I were being put on trial over a simple return.Trying to clarify the situation, I explained that I had purchased the cookies from a Trader Joes in **, he then questioned me about the location. Eventually, I asked if I should have brought the paper receipt, since his questioning continued for several minutes, compounding the embarrassment and making me feel incredibly uncomfortable.Following this, I called the store and asked to speak to the head manager or Captain to address what had happened. The person on the line responded, This is he. I asked if he was truly the head manager, and he replied, Yes! I shared my experience in full detail, while he remained silent throughout. When I finished, he revealed, This is *****, the guy youre talking about. I was stunned, and said, You cant be the head manager or captain, speaking to customers like thattheres no way. He finally admitted he was a lead, not the actual manager, leaving me feeling misled, frustrated, and frankly, even more embarrassed than ********* experience has left me dumbfounded, reluctant to return and deeply disappointed in this treatment.

Hello,We purchased a turkey from Trader Joes on pch on 11/3/24. We paid $39.96 for the turkey. When we got home we opened the bag and realized there was a huge bone and took up 90% of the turkey purchased and subsequent weight. This is deceitful on Trader Joes part as we cannot use or eat a turkey bone. There was very little turkey meat. I am flabbergasted how this was packaged and sold given the large bone. How can you ethically charge someone $40 for this? I have attached photos showing how deep and large the bone is compared to the meat as well as the receipt with the store purchased. Please issue a refund for this.
