On Thursday 12/19 I dropped of my car for engine service light. It several weeks to be notified what was the issue with my car. I was informed that there is a leak on the transmission that needed to be repaired and and also transmission fluid services needs to be done as well for the total cost of 1501.36.Service was completed and drove my car I realized later that evening that my car no longer can reverse. There was never an issue before with reverse. I called and notified the the manager who is name is *****. He said to bring it to be looked at... Now I am being told that the problem with the car is the transmission needs be replaced and the leak was not the problem. The cost of a new transmission is about $4500. So basically my car was missed diagnostic and I got charged for $1501.36 and that was not the real problem. There was negligence on the mechanic for not checking ************** the very least I am requesting to be reimbursed for the $1501.36 that did not fix my car. Also I am requesting for the dealer to pay 1/2 of the total cost of the $4500 to change the transmission.Initial Complaint

My car has been at the dealer for over a month. 1 week after getting my car back. The brake fluid light came on. never had this issue. They were testing the *** system/ braking system found a fault and they repaired it. After getting the low brake fluid sign. I opened up the hood I noticed that caps on the radiator and other items weren't fully closed. Decided to close them. Added brake fluid and kept driving. 3 weeks later the brake fluid light came back on. Dropped it off at the dealer on Sept 26th, 2024. Texted the service *** on Tuesday October 3rd after being told i would get an update last friday!. Now the service rep ***** is **** Still haven't gotten a text back. The only message I got back was let me go ask the tech. I have no idea or whats going on with my car nor am I getting any type of communication from the service **** I just want my car back with no leaking brake fluid. NO Communciation from the *** or updates. Now reaching two weeks no answers no nothing!Initial Complaint

I had a terrible experience here, the person that helped me totally lied to me about multiple things.1st. Price, over the phone I explained what was going on and the said its yeah 220 for that, in person they said $440 because there is this other thing. Mind you it was the same thing I had already said over the phone.2nd. I got charged $220 for a multipoint inspection and on top $110 dollars for an inspection of the tpms sensors. Problem is I specifically said not to mess with that problem but they did it anyways. I expressed loud and clear do not mess with that problem I got verbal and visual confirmation and it didnt matter they charged me for it either way.3rd. Never got the test I needed they charged me for it but never did it since they wanted to do some other part replacement prior to even checking the main issue.4th. Utility of convoluted and deceptive language and tactics to get you to accept service but once you signed they completely changed their tune and acted as if they never did say wherever it is they promised or spoke.Initial Complaint

Jan 11, 2023, I, *******************, a senior, paid Sierra Chevrolet **** ***************, Monrovia, ** ***** a Total of $ ******* for multiple repairs, too many to mention. Details in screenshots Ill supply the BBB.
My car shortly broke down, towed back to Sierra Chevrolet 8/31/22. I spent $ ******** on new spark plugs module wipe kit coil ***** Y decarb F. Injection cooling S coolant, 4 wheel Alignment.
My 95 ***** Camaro broke down, towed into Sierra Chevrolet 3/04/23. Glass reseal for rear hatchback window & trunk flooding with rain water, paid $ 200.00.
6/08/23, new sender new Fuel Pump Filter Kit. Originally quoted $ ********. I thought it extremely over priced, so I said hold off until I call other GMC ***** dealerships in S. **********. I was quoted from Upland ************* Chevrolet Technician *************** a much lower price of $ ******** to $ ******** for parts & labour for an after market fuel pump, which I thanked him at ************* Chevrolet. I called Sierra Chevrolet, asked if they could match Mountain View Chevrolets price more than half Sierra Chevrolets price of $ ********. Sierra lowered their price to $ ********, which I appreciated and thanked them, agreeing to pay Sierra Chevrolet $ ******** in full payment as I have paid Sierra Chevrolet off in full payment each and every time. I did not finance monthly payments. Sierra Chevrolet was paid in Full. They received their money immediately!!!
A few days later my **** ***** Camaro broke down in a busy ********** freeway, very dangerous. My 95 ************ was towed back for the 4th time in a year. It took Sierra Chevrolet 7 days to determine that 1 of the several apparently new spark plugs they installed was bad and failed, causing my car to break down on a busy 60 Pomona freeway early July 2023. I was told by the director that Sierra Chevrolet doesnt have computers to read older model **** vehicles. They had to visually inspect it. No computers picked it up July 17. Broke down on the 19th. Sierra Chevrolet of Monrovia has sold my car without my consent. They lead me lies, and misinformation keeping me to think my car is still at service to make me pay $7000 of storage fees In order to get it back in my possession, they lied about my warranty and GM manufacturer covering the repairs. To have me pay out of pocket for the vehicles detected mechanical breakdown I experienced. After all GM mailed me a letter informing me that it will be covered all repairs at no charge for me. But sierra Chevrolet just discriminated me and just told me whole lies and over charges and kept my vehicle to sale it. When I took it to their service shop for repairs. Because they have GM technicians. I don't understand why they would keep my vehicle if I didn't purchase it at their dealership I purchased it from HERTZ CAR SALES IN ******** ,** on 08/16/2021 And I put a down payment of $1000 with monthly payments including the contact warranty that makes it a total of $449 monthly to my lienholder. And the vehicle started indicating an engine light 4months in of purchase. I haven't operated the vehicle since October 22,2022Initial Complaint

I took my 2019 Chevrolet Sonic. In for service in 02/07/2023. For an engine light check a multi point inspection,even though I already was aware of my car needing a whole new engine from the recent dealership diagnosis that was taken before on 11/2023 at the ****************** OF ********. The billing there for my cars repairmen was $8000. Unfortunately my warranty denied my claim even though it was due to a malfunction condition from the ** factory I was notified my cars making model may cause engine issues in the future. So I go for a 2nd opinion at Sierra Chevrolet of Monrovia now I took in my ** notice letter to show my advisor in service department *******************. Along with my warranty,she gets back to me stating ** and my warranty claim got denied. So she's billing me $14000 to pay out of pocket. Now no work has been done on my car it's taking me longer trying to come across all that money for my cars repairs because I am still financing my vehicle with my bank. I'm paying for the warranty cars payment together each month. On a 72loan term. What ***** is charging me is discrimination it's way past more my whole cars value. Now she has more bills getting thrown on top which has made it impossible to get my car back to my possession, she is charging me $70 per daily storage fees. It's to much on my end so I sent my AAA tow truck over 04/22/23 at 11am comes out they refused to release my car. I contact my advisor and she gives me a pending bill of $2998. Which is why my car can't be released back to me. It's unfair the bill she has given me if no work has been performed on my car. And I'm still responsible to pay for repairs out of my pocket ,I'm still financing it the registration is under my name. And I been struggling with no transportation to commute to work and take my 6 year old child to kinder.. The rental was returned back within 2 weeks to them so what billing is so high due in order to get my car release to me ,the rental contract was given to me 02/07/23 at $15daily for 7days and after $30daily , it was returned back 02/23/23 how is the pending bill coming out to $2998? And she's charging me daily now storage fees. Which she's making it impossible for me to get my car out. I'm under stress iam expecting and it has not been going well with my pregnancy due to the pressure of the way I'm being discriminate from my own cars right. I been loosing work due to no transportation, Im risking daily walking with my child and being 4months pregnant out in the community to get to our errands. It's not safe for ** and no consideration for me as a customer to me giving me rough time with my car. If you find it In your heart after receiving my inquiry I would truly appreciate it to be helped with the appropriate assistance due to this matter. Internet searches show a decrease in the********* of over ******* When I checked the sierrachevrolet.com, which has the **************** shown for this Sierra Chevrolet, the Net Price is clearly stated, after this deduction as ******** including a sham subtraction from the MSRP. This is a scam to override the ** protection of information by a false claim of a true reduction by just over ******* But, then, as the pictures show, they ask for your information. That is, they are attempting to go around the protections of data not allowed except by choice in ** law, in order to obtain your information in any case, by making false claims on the price of the car. Then, after clicking "Do not sell my personal information", they then bring up the next page which tells you they use cookies (to sell information) and to "Accept Cookies". This is the path that the consumer takes which, on multiple occasions, is misleading in falsely advertising a good price, but they do not intend to give this. I spoke to a salesperson who told me "We have markups" and that is not the price. He said at the bottom of the page it said so. I asked him where, but he could not show me. It did not give disclaimers on the page screenshot with the price of **** **** This is false advertising, and attempting to avert customers to take information and data that is against the law to take. Purchased a used car on feb 27th 2022 from Sierra Chevy. After a month of owning get a text saying I have to sign a new contract because they made an error on payment date. No problem resign a new contract on March 22nd 2022. Then on April 6th 2022 get another text saying the bank needs more info for my loan. Why after a month and half later this loan should of been done and closed considering I had a payment due on April 19th so I said have the bank reach out to me ever have they tried to contact me yet for any info. Then on April 8th get a letter saying they were unable to finance me well unfortunately for them they are way past there 10 days allowed so I said you are my lender then since you failed within the time period. Then they ran my credit again after 40 days without my approval from 2 different lenders on April 28th. I contacted them said you don't have my permission to run my credit and he said they didn't which was a lie told them to remove the hard inquiries since you didn't have my approval to run my credit. Still haven't removed them from my credit yet the reason why I'm filing a complaint against them. Very unprofessional through out the whole process. This is just the beginning. The sold me a used car that is certified pre owned but it held lowered when I bought it and now they are trying to refuse the warranty work on it because the suspension had been tampered with but that's how I bought it from the dealer so it she be covered under the contract they sold me so now I'm going to have to go through a lemon law case if they continue to refuse to honor the contract on which they sold.Initial Complaint

I sold my leased **************************** to Sierra Chevrolet with a $**** equity on 3/11/2022. It was on a weekend and I was told that I will not be receiving a check because the business office is closed, I have to wait until the following week to receive a check via call back notice. I have not been notified for that whole week and decided to call again more than one week of selling my car. I was told that ************************ needed to release the title to them and then I can receive my check (which is a lie). After another couple of weeks, I decided to use the online message tool to obtain a written record of the conversation, but the dealership later called me, instead of messaging or emailing me, saying they are working on the check, and that I should get a call back within two days. During that phone call, I told them to ship the check to me, and they agreed and said will call me back within two days to confirm the shipping address. Now another week has passed, no callback and no check received. I called the dealership again and they said they will call me back. It's been a month and they still did not pay me the $****, and they already listed my truck for sale on their website. I don't have time to physically go into the dealership and they are not paying my money that I should be paid much earlier.Business response
