I had a deeply disappointing experience at American Tire Depot. Also not sure why they have such high reviews on google (BBB and Yelp may be better indicators with more honest reviews). The service was subpar and frustrating. Upon arrival, I noticed that the staff seemed disorganized and unprofessional (store was open 15 minutes late, even the delivery driver for this mornings shipments noted that this was not the first time this has occurred at this location). When my vehicle was finally brought in, the communication was lackluster and despite having an appointment at 8 AM, I had to wait over an hour and a half to be told that my tire was not here (this order was placed on 9/1, promised delivery by 9/4, with my appt on 9/5). I attempted to address my concerns with the management, but their response was dismissive and lacked any real effort to rectify the situation. For the amount time spent and wasted, the quality of service was far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend American Tire Depot based on my experience and will be seeking out alternative service providers in the future.Review from Tino C

If I could give 0 stars I would. 3675 Rosemead blvd in the city of Rosemead. Really horrible experience; at first they were trying to take advantage of me by trying to get me to overpay for tires. After asking why they wanted over $1,000 for four new tires they had no choice but to tell me everything that was included. They had added the extended warranty without disclosing it to me first, and some other items. After I declined all of that it was more reasonable. Alberto Lopez tells me that the brand new tires come with basic warranty of 5,000 miles and that everything is covered. So I end up buying the tires. Days later I’m driving in the Freeway and my front tire goes low so I pull over. I have a tow truck replace it with my spare. I go the next day expecting to get my tire replaced for free because it’s under warranty. R****** and D**** which is the names they gave me try to tell me every hypothetical reason why the warranty will not cover. I told them to just honor the warranty and then they try to give me a free tire only if I pay for the extended warranty which is above $100 dollars and they didn’t even have the tire in stock. I will not be doing business them again. I ended driving on my spare tire to another tire shop and got it replaced.Review from Tereza S

-5 stars. I bought 4 tires from this company a year ago and I asked them to put one tire of mine that was brand new in my trunk the others they can recycle. They noted it down on the paper work what I requested. When I went to go pick up my car my new tire was not in the trunk. I asked to speak with the manager and the manager told me they got rid of it and theres nothing they can do about it to leave theyre busy. I filed a complaint through email and I never got a response back. Can anyone help me to report this?Review from PETER B

EXORBITANT OVERCHARGE taking advantage of my stranded circumstances. On Friday 08 Dec 2023 at 5:45Pm the Adams St location sold me two tires: Summit 205/60R 16 92H ULTRAMAX for $127.99 apiece (before charges for balancing + taxes) for a total end cost of $340. These tires cost only $63.09 apiece on ****** and $65 apiece at *******. Moreover, ******** ***** quoted me today that they would have provided me with the same tires for $205 total end cost after installation. So American Tire overcharged me $135. I felt stranded and over a barrel on Friday at 5:45Pm: so I paid what turned out to be the exorbitant amount of $340 so I would be able to get home. The following day I checked out prices on the Internet of competitors, and then I telephoned American Tire in compliance with their request on Yelp. I asked WHY I was overcharged. The would NOT respond to the question! Then I asked for a partial refund. I was told that the only resolution they would offer me would be a free oil change. Went to have 2 nails removed from rear tire which were in middle of tread which I brought the tires from they said it was unrepairable which ******* said it was but they couldnt do it because of liability so anyway they said I I need to get another tire note this is my daughter that went in. I just went to see the tire and it was two nails in the middle of the tread which was repairable again they said they couldnt repair it cause one was crooked didnt understand that it wasnt on the sidewall. It was in the middle of the tire so the manager said I can go somewhere else so I didnt wanna argue with the man so I bought a new tire. I asked him the price the warranty covered it but I had to pay mounting and balancing he said 30 or $40 when I got the bill came to 89 so I paid it didnt go through the h hassle as of arguing with this guy I called *********** spoke to the district manager. He said I was correct dont know why that they charge me almost double what they quoted me he said he will send me a check for $48 that was on November 9, 2023. It is now December second no check has Arrived arrived called yesterday have not received a call. Learn my ******* Every time I go by that place i its empty. No cars in the bays no matter what time of day warning dont go to *********** store by the 10 freewayReview from Connie M

On Sept. 2022 I had 4 tires installed and balanced on my 2008 GMC ******* One month later I took my truck back to repair a leak caused by a nail, repair took at least 5 hours, I was there till after the store had closed, I immediately noticed the **** light and brought this up to the manager on site, no action taken on mgr behalf. ***** returned to ******** Depot a third time truck was out of balance, still no response to ****. 9/15/2023 talked to ****** set up a 9:00 AM appt. mgr on site this morning stated two **** were bad quoted me a price of $116.00 to replace later came back and recommended to replace all 4 at a higher cost, told mgr to bring my truck as isI will never do business with Americas Tire Depot in *****, ********** and will discourage everyone I talk to.Review from Jasmine M

$500 was STOLEN out of my mothers wallet while getting her tire changed at ************* on ************************************************************* ***** was the man who changed her tire. **** was the supervisor ********. They both insist that there are no cameras inside the bay where cars are serviced, and they both insinuated my husband could have stolen the money while installing her donut tire. I was present the entire time, and there are cameras in the driveway. My mother drove straight to their business right after. For NO ONE to taken accountability is reprehensible. My mother has not worked in 5 months due to an injury and needed that money. Police report filed. Shame on them!Review from Antoinette W

Paid for work too be completed and found out after having a bad feeling that none of the work had been completed.
