  I needed a locksmith to open my apartment door on September 18th, 2023.After a brief search, I chose what seemed to be a reliable business with several 5-star ratings near me. I called the number listed on their ****** page and was connected to an operator, who got me in contact with a service technician. The technician arrived and immediately got to work on my door without providing me an estimate or quote, and only tried using inflatable bags and various screwdrivers to open my door, forcibly. After about 10 minutes, he was able to slam open the door, causing damage to the doorplate, door jam, and doorframe. Only after the door was open, he said that the service was "Six, Ninety-Nine, ($6.99) and Twenty Nine ($29)". At first, I thought I misheard him, and that he perhaps said Sixteen ($16), or Sixty ($60), and was prepared to pay as much as other advertised services were listed between $50 - $150. However, he then demanded payment for $711.00. I would have NEVER used a service that was that expensive and would have turned him away before he damaged my property. I felt I had an obligation to pay him, and wanted to see if I could negotiate with a manager or supervisor. He claimed to only be a contractor and that he had no way of contacting a higher-up. I called the businesses' phones the next day and continued to be told that they would connect me with their "technical supervisor". I've called multiple times only to be waved off by the phone operators and tried to leave a ****** review demanding that management call me. I am seeking credit for the flagrant overcharging for the service and compensation for the repairs to my apartment. I've done some research after the experience and it does not seem that this business is bonded or insured, and based on other low-rated reviews may be scamming others like I've been. I have records of how many times I've tried contacting them. Their website is non-existent and contact email goes nowhere. I need your help.
