    I did not sign up for a membership for this Company Buydistressed charged my account September 8, 2023 for $69.90. Please cancel membership and requesting a full Refund. Stop trying to take more money out! My bank keeps texting me if I have approved this transaction and it’s not me! Please stop!

    In response to the complaint, our findings show that on 4/18/2023, the customer successfully enrolled in a 7-day $1.00 trial membership. The customer did not contact us during the trial period to cancel the service. As per the membership agreement acknowledged by the customer, she was billed $69.90 for the monthly membership after the trial expiration. All of these details, including trial length, trial price, and the monthly membership fee can be found on the signup page, on our Terms and Conditions page, and in the Welcome Email that is sent out immediately upon sign-up.

    In order for us to bill the customer's credit card, the customer's card issuer approved the billing zip code and address/AVS entered by the customer.  We also require customers to enter a credit card CVV number to finalize the transaction.  Furthermore, the telephone number used to register the account matches the information provided in the BBB complaint.  We do not have access to any of this information.

    We believe that the charge was valid; however, we have granted the customer a one-time courtesy credit of $69.90.

    I never to agreed to commit any payments to this company. And u tried twice to take,69.99$ off my cash app card and didn't get it because my card is locked.And if you try and make a third attempt you will have a lawsuit against this company. My attorney already has the paperwork in hand ready to send to y'all. I have no contract with u so do not try and steal my money again.Or that 69.99$ will be a little bit of the chunk of cash that your company will be paying to me.So if you do not want a lawsuit don't try and steal from me again.     In response to the complaint, our findings show that on 7/7/2023, the customer successfully enrolled in a 7-day $1.00 trial membership.  The customer did not contact us during the trial period to cancel the service.  As per the membership agreement that the customer acknowledged, the customer was billed the monthly membership after the trial expiration.  The credit card on file by the customer was declined for insufficient funds.  

    All of these details, including trial length, trial price, and the monthly membership fee, can be found on the sign-up page, on our Terms and Conditions page, and in the Welcome Email that is sent out immediately upon sign-up.

    We have no reason to doubt the validity of this account.  The person signing up for the trial knew personal information such as name, credit card number, CVV number, and address.  Moreover, the customer's card issuer approved the billing zip code and address/AVS entered by the customer.  In addition, the email address and telephone number on the account match the information on the BBB complaint.

    We submitted this response previously.  We are submitting below.

    In response to the complaint, our findings show that on 8/18/2022, the customer successfully enrolled in a 7-day Free trial membership.  The customer did not contact us during the trial period to cancel the service.  Once the trial ended, there were many attempts to collect the monthly membership fee, but we were unsuccessful as the account came back with insufficient funds.


    All of these details, including trial length, trial price, and the monthly membership fee can be found on the sign-up page, on our Terms and Conditions page, and in the Welcome Email that is sent out immediately upon sign-up

     Since the customer at no time attempted to contact us or cancel the account, we were able to successfully bill the monthly membership fee of $69.90 on both April 7th and again on May 7th, 2023, per our terms and conditions. 

    We have no reason to doubt the validity of these charges.  The person signing up for the trial knew personal information such as name, credit card number, CVV number, and address.  Moreover, the customer's card issuer approved the billing zip code and address/AVS entered by the customer.  In addition, the email address on the account matches the information on the BBB complaint.

    Although the charge was valid, on 5/9/2023, we canceled the account and issued a refund for the two months the customer requested.  We also sent an email to the customer stating such, and we consider the matter settled.

    In response to the complaint, our findings show that on 3/16/2023, the customer enroll in a 7-day $1.00 trial membership.  The customer provided name, address, telephone number and email address and credit card number. The customer’s credit card was declined for the $1 trial fee.  Although the credit card was declined, the customer was allowed to participate in the trial.  The account has been deactivated. The customer has never been charged.

    On 1/14/2023, the customer contacted us and requested account closure and a refund.  Although the charge was valid, our representative complied.  We received a BBB complaint on 1/17/2023.  The account has already been closed and refunded per the customer's request.

    Dec.22, they charged me 69.00 and I never told them that they could. When I called the number 1*********0, it rang busy 2 times and died. On there website you could not find a way to cancel or talk to anyone about it.

    In the complaint, the customer stated that she called (800) 317-5440. This is not our telephone number. Our telephone number is (800) 311-5440. Our telephone number is on our website and next to the charge on her credit card statement. In addition, customers can contact us on our website by clicking contact us link.

    I was charged a $1 trial fee and then for the last two months have been charged $69.90 per month with no way of cancelling until I saw the charges in my statements.

The customer did not contact us during the trial period to cancel the service. As per the membership agreement, that the customer acknowledged, the customer was billed $69.980 for the monthly membership after trial expiration. All of these details including trial length, trial price, and the monthly membership fee can be found on the signup page, on our Terms and Conditions page, and in the Welcome Email that is sent out immediately upon sign up.


    Our contact information is not only displayed in the Welcome Email but also on our Contact page, can be easily found on Google, and appears on customer credit card statements alongside the monthly fee. In order for us to bill his credit card, the customer’s card issuer approved the billing zip code and address/AVS entered by the customer.  We also require customers to enter a credit card CVV number to finalize the transaction.  The email address and telephone number used to register the account matches the information provided in the BBB complaint.  It is important to note that the IP address from which the customer visited our website has a geo-location that is consistent with the billing address submitted during registration.


    The customer contacted us on 4/25/2022 and was provided a credit. He filed the BBB complaint before he contacted us.  We received this complaint on 4/26/2022. This BBB complaint has no merit and should be removed.
