My complaint is due to "?? Maximum weight: 250lbs, but additional charges apply from 220lbs up"I called to schedule my appointment following a purchase for services from GroupOn. This is a ****************** They are charging fees for anything above 220 pounds. I asked to see what accommodations they have to make, for me to understand why any additional charges are. They stated all the equipment and resources are the same. The money is only simply because of the weight over their recommended limit. This is extremely discriminatory towards a persons weight, and I would like to make a formal complaint due to their policies. Directly from their website:Good to Know ?? Appointment required. I purchased a groupon for gojump oceanside and it was not as advertised. I am reporting to the better business bureau because upon reading the ****** reviews, I realize this is not an isolated incident and this scam has been going on for awhile. While the voucher might say youve purchased a jumping pass for $199 and all you have to do is schedule a date/time, when you call to schedule, they claim they have day to day fluctuations in prices. I expected to have a difference in price if you go on the weekend versus a weekday. What they fail to mention is that price fluctuation is about $100+, or basically a 50% or more increase on the price you paid via Groupon. Even when trying to book weeks in advance, this was still the case. Had they quoted me that from the start what the actual price would be (Closer to $350-400) and had better customer service (trying to find a date and time that was closer in price to what we paid versus just saying sorry price fluctuations is in the fine print) maybe I would have used the voucher. But I cannot trust this group to keep my safety in mind when Im jumping ****** feet out of a plane if this is how they handle their customer service. Thankfully Groupon had much better customer service. Very disappointed in this experience. I want them to have to explain in explicit detail on groupon what all potential additional charges are (fuel charge, weight charge, average change in cost for different days, etc) and put in bold that this groupon is only the base fee *have included a photo of the fine print section stating that any fees are not to exceed the voucher price which is an outright lie

This place is sneaky about what they are charging you. I purchased two Groupons for tandem package with video/photo. Keep in mind I also had a $200 deposit on top of the Groupon. Prices increase based on the time and day. I was told prices dont change if you purchase the video package Groupon. I arrived and was told I could pick either video or photo. If I wanted both it would be an additional $30 per person. They charged me around $160.00 and kept my deposit. I think that is an absolute rip off. The jump was incredible but the business is horrible. They should not scam their customers.

DO NOT go skydiving with this company. Complete scam.I bought their Groupon early in April for a tandem skydiving. My day was May 28th and we go there with my party of 7 and it got canceled cause of cloudy weather. Then they offer to rebook me on a different day which I am being asked to pay an additional $20-30 per person each more for. They're the ones that canceled it and now I have to pay more money depending on which day is convenient for me? Outright sharks. On top of that, a member in my reservation tested positive for COVID and I told them I'd like to remove one person from my reservation in light of that. Because they said it was within 48 hours, I had to forfeit his deposit which is about $60 or so. Then I said okay well would it be better if he just came? They said no, they don't want thier instructors put at risk (I agree). So they take your money, cancel your day due to weather, and then charge you more to rebook a different day. Absolute THIEFS.GIve me back my deposit.
