The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven:
On June 14, 2019 the California Department of Business Oversight (DBO) issued an Accusation in support of an order revoking the Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License of Patrick Brian McGee. According to the Accusation McGee provided false or misleading information on his MLO License application by failing to provide information regarding allegations pertaining to a civil action case involving allegations of fraud and failing to report that the revocation of his Bureau or Real Estate (BRE) License was for violations related to the making of false promises, fraud, or dishonest dealings. McGee also failed to report the issuance of a Desist and Refrain Order by the DBO on July 5, 2018. Furthermore, the DBO Commissioner found that McGee failed to demonstrate character and general fitness to warrant a determination that he will operate honestly, fairly, and efficiently as an MLO.
