I purchased a car (2018 BMW 330i xDrive) on July 20th, 2024 from Mercedes of Oxnard, CA. I still haven't received any registration or licensing for the car. Which means I haven't been able to drive my car for the past month. I've called numerous times to the dealership and this has yet to be resolved.

I brought a Used 2023 Tesla model Y at Mercedez Benz of Oxnard, there a alot of issue and things wrong will the car, it’s only has 1900 miles on it, when we sign the paper, they told us that they are going to put protective coat on the car amount 1999.00, and other the broken parts should be under Tesla warranty, when we went to Tesla service, it’s was not under warranty, apparently the parts that Mercedez benz dealer is wrong, the dealer try to correct some parts but it’s the wrong parts, so I try to go the Mercedez for them to pay the cost to repair the damage but they are not willing to pay for any more they said they already put $1600, They try to fix the repair, with different cheaper parts to sell it to me thinking we will not notice the repair parts, I think this is a lemon car even there no engine. The warranty on a Tesla is only on parts and battery. The Expert on the Tesla say the protection coat was not put on the car, they charge 1999. They only put wax and they are not covering the parts and labor. Attached are all the bill that Tesla is charging me for the repair

I brought in my 2008 Mercedes / Dodge Sprinter Van after it failed Smog. Apparently there was a sensor that prevented the test from being cleared. I took the van to local dealership and Mr Barry Taylor took the initial interview of problems. He then kept the van for several weeks with no updates. Finally when the van was ready for pick up he presented the attached bill of over $8k. He claimed the work needed to be done. I made the error of paying the bill and not contesting at that time. Unfortunately the completed work did not actually address the smog issue and I was later pulled over by CHP for having expired registration. Again I took it into smog and again it didn’t pass. I did not authorize any of the work to be done before Barry & service team performed it. There is no voice mail, phone call or email from him stating the scope of work that “needed” to be done prior to doing it as is customary with mechanics. Finally the van is only worth approx $30k and therefore it would have been difficult for me to justify spending 1/3 of the value on maintenance had Barry actually called me prior to performing the work. I have already contested with my credit card company yet they sided with the business.

In August of this year I returned my leased vehicle upon instructions from MBFS to my nearest Mercedes-Benz dealership. I informed this dealership I’m doing an early termination of my lease and required to turn it in. I don’t know why they assumed that I was selling them the vehicle. They gave me a very low appraisal for the vehicle and I paid 6892 as the difference from my lease balance . constant calling to the dealership and MBFS and finally MBFS stated the vehicle only needed to be grounded and sent to auction and I shouldn’t have paid anything to the dealership. Any damages needing to be paid would be handled from the autovin report. This dealership has been trying to buy the vehicle and settle my lease but I told them the two amounts for a lease pay off and early termination are totally different . I have been calling the dealership for a refund of the 6892 I paid . No answer from the GM of the dealership not the managers. This is a big misunderstanding on both sides and this should have been an easy process but it’s been a nightmare.

    Hello,

Mr. M**** contacted me expressing what happened, we immediately took action, It was a misunderstanding; we apologized for the inconvenience and I assigned one of the sales managers to handle the concern; he contacted Mr. M**** and after few calls and few days, the situation was remedied and Mr. M**** was informed and involved. The person in charge of this case already informed Mr. M**** that the refund check should have been issued. G***** ******

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 20525004, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Just an addition, the manager assigned never told me he sent a refund check as he said it was paid towards my lease. I’m standing by awaiting confirmation of this refund check.

    respectfully,

    ****** M****

Three months ago (at the end of October), I traded in my car when purchasing another vehicle at this dealership. At point of sale, I filled out all the notice of transfer requirements. I continue to get notifications from my he DMV the car I traded in remains in my name. I have called the dealership several times to get this remedied, leaving messages on voicemail and with people. No one from the dealership has called back and the dmv will not process without the dealership submitting the paperwork.

I contacted Mercedes’ Benz of Oxnard to inquire on a used vehicle that I seen online. I spoke with a sales rep Torek Heldon. He told me the car was available when did I want to come down to see it. He then told me of a bogus story that some rich friend was coming down that Sunday to more than likely buy it. I would probably then want to come in the that Saturday before. I didn’t he then texted me that Monday saying it was still available. I told Torek I was interested in the vehicle he sent over the I-package one of the papers had information indicating that was a coolant leak. I called Torek and asked him when the coolant link would be taken care of. Because I didn’t want to drive 100 miles to Oxnard and would still need to take it back for the repair. Torek said it was fixed and the price of $246 was on the page because that was the cost of fixing it. I said I would come down Saturday 9/24/2022 to look at it and possibly purchase it. I went to the location when going over the purchase order there was a charge for Zurich shield of $999 that shows on paperwork under optional but he said it was mandatory so I paid for this product because I purchased the car. On Monday while driving I received a message of the dashboard indicating that my coolant was low. I called Torek and he says that shouldn’t be happening and I said you told be the issue was fixed. He replies I personally didn’t check it. Last week he was sure that it was corrected. I talked to the used car manager and he looked into his system and said that the car coolant leak wasn’t fixed somehow they didn’t have time so they just topped off the coolant. I spoke with the general manager he doesn’t want to do anything. I want this company to come pick their car up because I refuse to drive 100 miles for their error/mistake and give me back my money. I had to get a inspection/ diagnostic because of them casting doubt that an inspection was ever even done on their part. They aren’t will to reimburse me

Hi, I hope this email finds you and the appropriate channels including the general manger H* ********** of Mercedes-Benz of Oxnard who decided to rip up my legal binding contract. I spoke with L***** Stern The finance manager Saturday 3/26/22 at 3:38pm, he informed me that Mercedes of Oxnard could come down to a price of "$65,998 as per Andy's conversation". I then spoke to L***** again Sunday morning at 10:46am giving him the time I would be coming in, I said around 2:30pm. At 12:44pm as I was driving the 50 miles it takes me from my house that the car was sold at opening that morning he apologized and that was that . I ended up sending him a message explaining my frustration with how the deal had already gone with it being sold after verbal confirmation of it going to me. On Monday 3/28/22 at 10:36am I received a response from my message to L***** stating ''I had been working on this for you as it didn't sit right with me and want to figure out how to get this van for you" The next correspondence we're figuring out the final details for the sale, Total, tax etc... On Monday 3/28/22 I sent L***** a copy of my License and proof of insurance and set a time to come in, test drive the car and sign the contract. I arrived Monday evening around 5:45pm an hour before closing. I checked out the sprinter and test drove it and came back a sold customer. After a brief discussion on price we agreed on $71,987.00 out the door. Heather Bull input the total onto the contract and printed it out. I then physically signed the carfax, e-signed for the DMV and then physically signed the multiple page contract with Mercedes-Benz of Oxnard to take delivery of the vehicle.
