December 22, 2022 we called NorthCounty Plumbing to fix our clogged sewer system. The Tech removed the toilets and ran the snake into two different clean outs with a receipt of $225.00. Four days later the toilets were clogged again. Called NorthCounty Plumbing on December 26, 2022 and they sent out two Tech’s to repeat the same procedure with receipt of $290.00. After the two Tech’s left we had to clean up after them and discovered our toilet enamel was chipped from the snake. Less than twelve hours the toilet had gotten clogged again. I called NorthCounty Plumbing to complain and express our frustration about company and our toilet being damaged. Jim said he could send the Tech’s out again and we said NO! Jim requested a picture of the damage toilet and a picture was sent. We purchased a new toilet for $205.54. Our retired plumber friend suggested to clean out the air vent on the roof because every time they would take the toilet out it would get air and everything would work until it filled up. January 24, 2023 I called to get the final result. Jim said that the toilet wasn’t damaged and they used a pumice stone and we didn’t give them a chance to clean it up. The point is, if the toilet could have been cleaned it should have been done at the time of service. The tech that damaged the toilet was requested by NorthCounty Plumbing to pick up the toilet and never said a word that it could have been repaired. Jim reiterated about their 30 years of experience and their 5 stars on two different conversations. Jim said NorthCounty Plumbing did the leg work after a successful clogged air vent by another person. After two attempts of 30 years of experience and 5 star ratings blows my mind. In conclusion, after spending $515.00 of service calls that didn’t remedy the problem and a damaged toilet. We feel that NorthCounty Plumbing should be responsible for the expense of a new toilet.

My gas was turned off due to a gas leak located somewhere between the meter and the house. I contacted North County Plumbing and they came out to check the situation. They knew I was desperate to get my gas on and I feel they took advantage of my situation. Since they were able to start right away I went ahead and used them which was a mistake on my part. After the job was done I was talking to a contractor who said they would have charged me anywhere from $5500 to $7000. I paid North County Plumbing $9000.
