            On September 15th, 2023, I had informed my property manager, *********************, here at casa del sol apartments located in ******* **, that my refrigerator was not getting as cold as it should be getting (being that it was set to its coldest temperature). *** stated that she would have maintenance come out the following business day, Monday, September 18th. Monday came and the maintenance person never showed up, I then spoke to the assistant manager, who stated that the maintenance person only works 3 days out of the week and Monday wasn't one of those days. Tuesday September 19th, 2023 came and the maintenance person came by took a look at the dishwasher, that has not been working in over a year, after many failed attempts to have it fixed, he then stated that a new dishwasher was necessary, and stated that he would put in an order for it to be replaced. still no word on the dishwasher as of today (10/05/2023). As the maintenance person began to look at the refrigerator, he came to the conclusion that the vents in the back of the FREEZER were the cause of the refrigerator not getting cold, stating that the vents were blocked with ice. he then suggested that I remove everything from both the freezer and refrigerator and unplug it for a minimum of 10hrs to let the ice thaw, or to try and scrap the ice by hand. I proceeded to scrap the ice that night. the next morning September 20th, 2023, I noticed a nasty chemical smell coming from the freezer and all of my food DEFROSTED. I informed *** AGAIN this time letting her know that my food was defrosted and of the nasty chemical smell, she sent maintenance to check it out again and this go around he realized that yes, I definitely needed a new freezer/ refrigerator. according to maintenance person a request for a new fridge was put in that same day. September 21st, 2023, I contacted *** in regard to when I should be receiving the new fridge, she stated that it could take up to 5 to 7 business days to be delivered. more info
