On 6/23/2024 I visited spectrum office at ********************************************, On the window they were advertising an offer of payment on your phone lines. It consisted of buying your/ pay off your phone lines with another company as long as they were transferred to spectrum. In my case from ******* to Spectrum. Maximum pay out of $2500. I spoke to Sore Specialist ( ********* ****) who guaranteed me that as long as I open 3 lines with spectrum they would pay off my lines with *******. I of course believed her sales pitch and fell for it. I thought that she was an honest and sincere person and transferred the lines. I owe ******* total of $1553.00 . Later stated that to qualify for the full buyout since I had only two lines to transfer I needed to open an additional line. and that I need to purchase a Table and open a phone and that would guarantee me full buyout. Later I found out that it was all lies and that because I only transferred to phone lines that only a total of $1000.00 would be paid to me as soon as proof of amount owed to ******* was submitted . Almost a month has passed and I am still contact Spectrum to finally settle and pay the amount owed ******* of $1000. I have spoken to numerous customer *** at ********************** and I still have not gotten a satisfactory answer of where the funds are. On top of sprectrum leaving me in a final bind I still haven't gotten the $1000.00 promised to me stating that because it is a new program they a in counter numerous kinks and that many people are still waiting for their money. This situation a dire and it requires someones attention from parent company in **********.

To Whom It May ********* filed a complaint on Spectrum on July the 11th initially. Though I never got an assigned complaint number!Any how this complaint is about the discrepancy in my current billing from a $***** monthly promised on May 21, 2024 for a year and it's change to ***** in this July 2024. I called Spectrum on July 11 and spoke to a Tweetie! After an hour long investigation and a book long explanation she failed to indicate the increase and discrepancy of the charges! Then she transferred me to a ******* for resolution! ******* reiterated what she had gone through already and yet no explanation of the increase why the promised 365 day year time had shortened to 30 days! Later the same day I get a call from a *****>. ***** stated that ****, who had promised me the ***** for a year had made a mistake of entering the pertinent code and the monthly charge should have been ***** instead! I sure would like to see how one can be promised one thing and obliged to pay another! Thank you

In January of 2023 I was accepted by acp for internet; so I chose spectrum; the acp does not pay the ***** hook up for the box to recieve internet; in January I was told that cause I am low income that the ***** hook up was fee waived I was recieving ****** in s.s. and I was to pay ***** and the acp was to pay *****. until march when the acp was not paying the ***** to spectrum they where paying to q link so I was told by acp to do another application; so I did. After that I was not fee waived for the same account just different numberson the account from the acp. Then I find out that the acp did not pay spectrum for the ***** in march so spectrum is charging me for that as well. Every month sense I got the inter net I have had nothing but problems every month at the end of each month. Now they call me daily about this amount. I do not owe it and I am not paying it. I have contacted the acp as well on this matter. I never missed of payment and I owe no payment. thank you
