All of my windows were replaced. I wanted the window in my kitchen upgraded to a garden window. Unfortunately, the garden window had issues from the outset. There is an issue with it and ****** initially had the manufacturer (********) involved, and assisted with representatives coming to my home. This went on for quite some time with no forward movement Finally, the manufacturer told me there is nothing to be done, and there is no issue. This is despite many folks indicating that they understand the problem. I contacted ****** letting them know that this was unacceptable, and at this point I wanted them to remove the garden window and install a window that matched all the other windows in my home. They have stopped responding to me altogether.I have all of the e-mails over the ***** that this has been going on, as well as pictures of the issue. While I understand there were issues with *****, as well as issues within the industry itself, this is ludicrous!Pictures were taken by ******, and representatives from ********.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory to me. The manufacturer closed the claim! That is the reason I reached out.

The windows were installed by Halls Windows on July 10. A month later the window trim began peeling off and a repair crew arrived October 10. They noticed the improper installation but were not able to properly repair the issue. On November 15 **** came out to try to bandage the issue. On December 1 , ***************** owner of Halls came out and pulled off the trim it was clear there were No shims and vinyl scraps were folded into the window jambs to attempt to adhere to the trim, causing an improper and sloppy installation. Currently leaking drafty windows include the Master Bedroom, 2 master bath, guest bedroom, 2 large kitchen, 1 small kitchen, and 4 living room. When you and your representative were at my home on Thursday, December 1,2022 you witnessed the windows were off in measurement to be square by anywhere from to inches. On November 15, your installer, **** commented that he was able to see outside through some of the spaces around the windows. **** tried to bandage several of the downstairs drafty, leaking, improperly installed windows by adding an extra strip of trim to several windows. When you looked at the bathroom windows upstairs, you noticed the lack of shims to properly install the windows. My windows are not plumb, level, or square. Additionally, when you were at my home, I was told by your representative removing the windows and repositioning them will not make them sound. It is clear, adding a wider strip of trim will not resolve the bigger issue. I will not agree to a cheap bandage to try to cover your installation and measuring mistakes. I will expect Halls to remedy the walls and windows by replacing ALL windows and treating the growing mold and mildew. I have been more than patient and given Halls Multiple opportunities to remedy this issue. I feel every window should be replaced or my money refunded to me.Photos are available - the website will not allow me to Upload

I am rejecting this response because:

They have not even attempted to remedy the issue. I received a response from Hall on Friday stating they would like to meet with my contractor to discuss the mis-measured windows. At this point, I have water coming in through the Trim and around the windows damaging my floors. I would be happy to send you photos and video of the water leaking. See the letter attached.
