I have not been out of the state of ******** nor out of the counties of ******* and ***** in 3 years. Before that didn't have the vehicle or tag they reference. But they say I was in ********. Never in my life have I been to that state. I even sold the vehicle and turned in the tag. I want them to stop trying to collect tolls on me.

I have used the ******* Tollway for the past 6 years at least 2-3 times per year. I just used it again on March 1st, but this time I had used my father-in-laws vehicle because mine was in the shop for maintenance. Long story short, because I wasn't able to get my I-pass account number and because I was using a vehicle not associated with my account, I wasn't able to pay my fines on time.. now, i have to pay $20/toll (or 4) to pay for a $7 total trip?!?! Their process is predatory, their website is ABSOLUTELY a mess (and, I build GUI's for a living).. and, they 100% bank on this to make a profit. good luck Blockbuster!! but, your day will come!

I traveled from ** to ** with a rented UHaul and Uhaul car dolly. I was told to not pay tolls or use a personal transponder as UHaul pays the tolls and will bill me directly...fast forward 2 months, anf I get a $103 dollar invoice from Illinois Tollway $31 in missed tolls and $72 charge. ***** stated they never were sent the toll bill and to email *****. The email I received back was rude and snarky insinuating that I was lying about the UHaul and that "you dont think the rules apply to you?"! UHaul screwed up and I was trying to get things rectified do that I would not be charged the $72 invoice charge...but it looks like the consumer has to take the hit even when others s**** up. The utter rudeness of the email I got is disgusting especially for people claiming that they are there to rectify disputes.

We went through the ******** Tollway on 9/22/22. We checked for tolls online within the 14 day time period, found our tolls and we paid the complete and total amount of tolls online. Illinois tollway also charged our credit card on 10/03/22 for the complete and total amount of tolls. We also received emails from Illinois Tollway on 9/25/22 and on 10/02/22 stating the credit card was charged and the tolls were paid. We have proof on our credit card charges that these tolls were paid. Then we received a bill in the mail from Illinois Tollway on 11/12/22 stating we had unpaid tolls (which were actually and already paid in full!) good grief. Maybe it would be better to install toll booths instead of having all of this back and forth and so many billing errors?

I knowingly passed a tollway and went online and set up an account as I had not done so in order for me to pay the toll. However, my recent toll wasn't on there after a few days, so I assumed it didn't go through. About a month later I received a letter in the mail stating I owed late fees on top of the toll due. This was not communicated in email or online, getting charged late fees for something you actively looked out for is wrong. By making an account online it should notify you of stuff like this.
