            I received a proposal for Fenceworks, Inc. to perform a vinyl fence install job for an apartment complex, that we at Royal T Managament, manage. We accepted the proposal and scheduled for work to begin in Mid-October of 2020. Fenceworks, Inc. began the first segment of installs with high quality work done in a slower than promised timeframe. The project manager (who I have now learned is also the owner of the company) was non-responsive for weeks without begining the work. After several months of delays due to non-responsiveness, COVID-19, supply chain issues and labor shortages, the first phase of installs were completed in March of 2021. The fence install work was very good and we did not want to switch vendors halfway through the project so we could keep the same vinyl product consistent throughout the whole complex. I firmly told **** ******, owner and project manager, that we needed effective communication and a quicker completion of the work during the second and third segments of installs. It has now been over 20 months and the work is still not complete. We recently reached out to **** to obtain a schedule of the fences he was planning on completing so we could give a notice to our apartment residents of the potential work being done. **** finally responded after weeks with a quick "my guys will be out tomorrow" when we stated that we needed to give notice to the exact residents who's fences would be worked on. We now have a resident requesting a rent credit for missing work after she had asked the Fenceworks crew not to begin installing since she was not given proper notice. The crew disregarded the resident and proceeded with work the next day. I have documented proof of our requests and the lack of responses from Fenceworks over the past 20 months. We request that Fenceworks, Inc. completes the work ASAP and mends the situation with the resident by paying for a rent credit.
