    August 5, 2022 I purchased a stroller-wagon from Buy Buy Babys *********, ** location. I made the purchase online for an in store pickup. The pickup instructions were that I had to pick up the item by store closing three days later (August 8th). I realized after purchasing that I could not use the stroller-wagon for ********** as Id intended so I never picked the stroller up. I figured it would be restocked after closing on the 8th but planned to follow up with the store on the weekend. As it turns out, I was charged for the stroller on August 10 (2 days after my deadline to pickup). I figured it was an error due to me not picking it up or canceling the item. After going back and forth on the phone with the store over a few days, the general manager, ****, told me that the stroller-wagon was picked up using curbside pickup on the evening of August 10 and that it was ME who picked it up. She said that she herself was the one to take the stroller out to the waiting car and that she checks the pickup persons ID 100% of the time. I asked if someone could have possibly gotten into the online order details and added another name as a pickup person and she said no, I was the only named pickup person. So either this was a very elaborate theft where someone hacked my email and also duplicated my ID to show to an unsuspecting employee or it was an inside job. Too many things would have had to be known and bypassed for someone to have stolen it without help.I have filed a police report and a claim with my credit card company. I am just so upset that the General Manager has the audacity to tell me that I was the one who picked it up. I have asked for video proof of me picking up the order and I was told they couldnt give that to me. Ironically, I do have video proof that I am in my home all evening on the tenth.
