Hello,
All of the information on our website is from public record databases. Every person aged 18 and older can have a public record. This information is collected on a County, City, State and federal level and can also come from reporting information during normal every day activities such as grocery store club cards, magazine subscriptions, voter registration, warranty cards, even fishing licenses, and forms you fill out when browsing the internet. There are thousands of ways this information gets reported.
If you would like your records removed, please submit your request by using our online removal tool, linked below. We will also endeavor to block future public records that belong to the same person, but identifying these future records is not 100% accurate and cannot be guaranteed.

Absolutely horrified to find not only personal identifying information about me readily available on this site but very upset that my phone number was shared & concerned as I typically use a ****** number (only ******************************** have my actual cell). As others have stated I have concerns based on the nature of my work that have caused me to be extremely careful/protective of any online presence. I do routine checks & as of a few months ago there was nothing- I am very concerned where this info has come from and upset because I already noticed an uptick in unsolicited calls (went from 0-2 annually to 12 in the last two weeks).I have requested an opt out however my phone number is still pulling up with a search- completely unacceptable.FamilyTreeNow.com Response

If I could give 0 stars I would. Im a Social Worker and work in a sometimes dangerous profession. I dont need clients/patients showing up to my home or, calling me inappropriately. There is no need for this website as other legit genealogy websites NEVER have this personal of information and, most require an account or subscription. Not to mention that I refuse to go through the opt-out process as they require more personal information to confirm your identity. My family and my personal information including past and current addresses, phone numbers, birthdays, and possible relatives and acquaintances crosses a line into DOXING millions of people. You are not a legit business and I hope you go to go prison for your disgusting and unsafe behavior. I received a notice from my discover card that my name and age was found on the dark web. I filed a fraud claim with ******** and ran a search of the dark web. Experian report states the source of my name and age came from Family Tree Now, i don't even have an account with **********************, where is this site getting source information???FamilyTreeNow.com Response

FamilyTreeNow somehow has listed all my personal information. I was alerted that they may be selling my information or attempting identity theft. They are a scam website that somehow gets your information through a data breach and can use it to have identity theft. If you try to get off their list, they scam you further. DO NOT go to this website!
