We wrote the business on June 4, 2014, requesting the company provide to us steps that it is taking to eliminate the underlying cause of complaints, if any. The company responded to our request on July 3, 2014, indicating that customers must complete refund request forms stating the reason for the requests which are then sent to corporate for review. The company states that once the refund is approved it is paid within 45 days almost without exception. McDonald Hearing Aid Center admits that occasionally a refund will exceed the 45-day time frame due to administrative issue. The company indicates that when an error in the refund process is discovered, it is rectified immediately to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
