  The week of 3/28/22 I left a 14k, 18in gold chain to have clasp repaired at Sheikh Jewelers at **********. I Returned to pick it up on 4/2/22. The chain I picked up did not look like the one I left but the store was busy so I left thinking maybe I was mistaken. I wore the chain I received one day and it itched my neck and caused a rash.I had worn the chain I left at Sheikh Jewelers for years without and any problem.The man who took my repair had stated that my chain was 24k but they did not have that in the store so a 10k clasp would be used to repair it. I ignored the 24k story because I knew better and just wanted a quick repair. I paid $27 in advance.On 4/9/22 I called the store and told the man that answered the problem, he told me his name was Mez, and to come down so he and his manager would see what they could do for me. I told him I did not want to get into a big dispute but he encouraged me to come in.When I arrived at the store and asked for Mez, this guy turned around and glared at me and when I showed him the chain and repeated the problem I had with it. He became loud and intimidating stating that He remembered me and that he had told me my chain was 24k plated! I was shocked but not surprised and told him that was the kind of response I expected and I would be filing a complaint against him.
