I went to AutoZone & specifically said I needed an AUXILIARY battery for my specific vehicle. I was told the cost which sounded super high & I double checked & asked the guy if he was sure that was the right kind of battery he searched for. He reassured me it was. I also asked before I made the purchase if it can be installed for me & he informed me that it will be put in for me, no problem. Then after I paid, I asked if anyone was going to come out & set up the battery in my ******* was then told that it actually cant be. When I went elsewhere to have it installed, I was told that it was the wrong battery & not the auxiliary battery I needed, I was sold the wrong one. So I went into the store to return it & I have the receipt & I even purchased a warranty for it, the item is brand new unused. I used a prepaid debit card I loaded money onto to make the purchase & they told me I needed the card when I went in to make the return. I explained that I did not have the card bc i discarded it once it was empty. I do not want store credit. I can not afford to keep this expensive battery that I have NO USE FOR bc I was sold the wrong one which is not my fault!! I need my money back asap!! I also called corporate offices about this 4-5 times now & each time I get the run around & lied to that I will be contacted within 24-48hrs & it NEVER HAPPENS!! I never receive any kind of return call or email, nothing!! This is unacceptable to just lie to someone like that & keep them pointlessly waiting. I have had this battery for almost 2 weeks now. I need my money so I can purchase the proper one. My car is not working correctly without the right battery I need to buy with the money back from my return!! This is having me out of commission with my vehicle!! Which I need for working and my everyday life!!

On July 26, 2024 I ordered several parts online from Autozone. I received all of the parts in the order except six (6) spark plugs. They claim they were shipped, but the tracking number indicates they were never picked up. I contacted Autozone three times on their website and have been ignored to date. I just want the parts delivered asap. Thank you for your help

********** has a program through CARB for the deposit and recycle of refrigerant cans used to charge air conditioners. The deposit is 10 dollars per can. I purchased 10 of these because I needed to recharge my bus,s over the road drivers AC system, its pretty large and I didnt use it all at once so by the time I went and returned my cans they said it has been past the 90 days at the time it was only 2weeks past the deadline and they have record of my purchase. Its not a question on whether or not I purchased the cans. Its a return policy/computer system/not empowering their employees to make decisions problem. Ive elevated this as far as I can but cant get a hold of anyone who has decision making ability. Ive done lots of research about this program. The intent is to ensure these cans get recycled and prevent harmful chemicals from entering the atmosphere. There is conflicting information about the 90 day limit but the bottom line is they took my deposit I returned the cans 90 days or not they have my money and returning my cans does not interrupt their process whatsoever. The consolidation and accounting is completed biannually and everything is rolled up and consolidated by the manufacturers where they have to create a annual recap for the state on how many cans were recycled and various environmental impact reports, then return any un claimed deposits to the state. There is an amendum to the law for further clarification on June 2021 that specifically says deposits are still valid after 90 days and you can return any can to any retail location at any time of the can has the stamp on it the deposit has been paid. No different than how states do deposits for coke cans. Im sure this impacts many people but not many people buy 10 cans at a time and have a 100 deposit being confiscated.

On January 17, 2023 I placed an online order through Autozone's website. My order was cancelled by them. I called to ask for clarification and was told by Associate Manager ****** and Store Manager ******* that the order was cancelled due to one missing item, and that's Auto Zone's policy to automatically cancel an order like that. However, ****** stated he called several times and if I had answered the order would not have been cancelled. My phone records show I received no such call and my number on file is correct. ***** and ******* both stated that AutoZone does not do deliveries. I asked how that was so when it's advertised on their website, I was able to submit an order to be delivered and ***** himself confirmed he didn't want the "Uber Eats driver to come all that way for half an order". These two employees blatantly lied on a recorded phone and misrepresented the company as well as the company's policies and procedures. They also failed to follow their company policy by not attempting to contact the customer before cancelling an order. If the company want to hire employees who will lie to cover their own mistakes then they should change the website to say they do not offer delivery since thats what their store managers are telling people.
