I paid for a 12 month rental fee on my propane tank. I decided to switch providers. So I told them to come pick up their tank. I had 4 months left on my tank rental agreement at the time. They finally came and picked up their tank after 3 weeks just leaving it at my house. I called and asked them for refund and they told me that it was close enough to the one year and that they're not going to refund me my money. 2/3 of my rental agreement is not a whole agreement. They owe me for a remainder of a ? of the contract. They will not respond or give me my money

Please check the address or business you are referring to, because we do not sell propane. This is a ********** station and liquor store.  Thank you.

I am a senior citizen on Social Security. On 12-23-2021, I checked my propane tank volume and discovered that the fuel level was close to zero. I had been out of town for the previous couple of weeks and was not able to monitor the fuel volume. It had been unusually cold during that time and our furnace had used up almost all of the propane. I called my propane supplier, ******************, and informed them that my tank was dangerously close to empty. (This was 2 days prior to Christmas and we had visitors staying with us). They refused to deliver any propane that day unless I immediately paid the a $250 delivery charge. That was just for the delivery fee- not the propane. The normal fee is $10. I had no choice other than to pay that outrageous and possibly illegal fee. Without any heat, my family's health would be compromised. So I agreed to their extorsion demand. So the propane was delivered within a half hour- that means one of their trucks was already in our area. I called a few days after the delivery to complain without resolution. They had the nerve to charge the normal $10 fee in addition to the $250 delivery fee. I did some research but I couldn't find out who regulates propane companies in *****. I did find some info from the **************** of ********* Services. I believe they violated the Price Gouging law, Penal Code 396(C) which is effective in Placer County through 6-28-2022. I would like them to refund the $250 delivery fee.
