They ****. I use the savings account. After getting my information to update my account to access my money they stop contacting me. Unprofessional and I still don't have access and they're still taking money out of my account. They should be shut downReview from Rebekah E

This loan company came in clutch for me when I needed the funds to move, but they do nothing but HARASS ME. I make my payments on time, and they still call me AFTER HOURS telling me that there is an important matter to discuss about my account. So the first few times, I called to ask. And they simply say oh just a reminder that your bill is due on xx/xx. THEN SAY THAT. I even tried to change my due date due to change in employment and my pay date, and they denied me, saying that I would have to completely refinance my loan or finish paying it off and start a new one? But watch. Im going to be absolutely gaslit with this review, saying they dont do any of this. DO NOT USE OPPORTUN.

I used to love using oportun for my personal loan. They were fast, affordable, and reliable (according to the internet). I paid off my first loan of 1000 down to 500. They offered a refinance, which i took because I desperately needed the funds for my property/car tax. (777$). I was provided $2000 with the same interest as the last. Even if it was exorbitant, I had only had positive experiences *********** forward to today and boom! Check my credit score and they have failed to report November's payments (they automatically report on the 4th) as well as still reporting that I have a balance of 1500 after I paid it down to 160$. ***** calling customer support to no avail. My word of advice now is different from before. I do NOT recommend oportun for any loan offers. They also call you weeks before and the same day your bill is due to hound you for payment. I had to threaten harassment charges before they stopped calling.Oportun, Inc. Response

I had a savings account with Digit, and had NO problems ever. Oportun acquired them. Months later, I started getting notifications from Oportun. I changed bank accounts and now they wont let me transfer my money out of their account, but they absolutely keep taking my money. And they wont give it back. Ive emailed. Tried to close my account. Spoken to managers. And tried everything possible and they keep saying they will send me a check. Asked me to send pictures of my license and asked me for my utility bills and they STILL wont give me my money. I have to put a protection on all my accounts and find a way to make sure I monitor identity theft just in case. I dont know whats happening with them but its shady.Review from Priscilla W

These people have scammed numerous SSI recipients out of monthly checks.When contacted refuse to cooperate in any way on solving the issue. They need more criminal charges filed for fraudOportun, Inc. Response

I borrowed this money knowing it was crazy interest rate. I sent three checks off the same day from ******** to ********** to pay off my debts. Everyone else has received their payments. What do you know not this company it could take a additional 15 days to apply so they can draw the per diem out even longer. What POSOportun, Inc. Response

Do not do business with them, I accidentally paid my credit card twice from my checking account. They only refunded one, they tried to issue a check that bounced because they would not verify it, and my bank closed my account because of it. They are still charging me interest and asking for payments when I never even received my $920 back, they put the balance back on my credit card. Its affected my credit score and my whole Life. I got denied my dream apt when I was trying to Move because it dropped my score so low. Its August and this matter hasnt been resolved since April. Run run run they are thievesOportun, Inc. Response
