On 04/09/24 I was scam for $523.00 via BitCoin machine. I made a police report and was told that it would take 180 days to get my money back, even though no one ever got the money. It's been over 190 days and I can't get any answers whenever I call Please help recoup my money or get some answersInitial Complaint

I was scammed and was told to put 5k into a bitcoin atm, owned by Get Coins. Immediately after I put the money in, I realized it was a scam and called Get Coins right after I called the Police. I was told that Get Coins caught the scam and didnt send the money. I was told to fill out forms and send info, which I did. I was then told the process can **** * weeks. I was then told it can **** * months. Now they arent answering the phone or returning my emails. Please help.Initial Complaint

June 3, 2024 Monday 12:54 and 12:59 For bitcoin for $2,000 and for $1,670 I sold my old.jewelry and received $2,870.I only used $800.00 from my ******** Getcoins did not release the funds. They said they needed proof it was my money. They wanted me fill out the form and take a picture of myself holding the form. I did. They wanted 3 monthly statements from my ******* I did that. Than they wanted proof to see if its my money. I did. They asked to see my statements from my savings. I did They saw a wire transfer from my father business and wanted the *** number I did. Now they all the proof and information of money I get. It does notify end. They want not only want to steal the money all information but to steal my money and sell it to hackers. I want them to release the funds. The banks will not release information on the inheritance because it was for 6 children. The bank refused to do that because they are stealing. I want my money back. I having an issues with. Getting my refund. From get coins. For 28k . That I worked my behind off for. And. That. I truly be nice. With them. Trying to get it back. Calling and always getting. Someone will call u bk. And they never call me. Back or send an email !! Im been trying to get my refund for a yrs now. And. Gotten no results !! I wrote out everything. That they ask me. To write out and took a pic. With it. I kept in contact with them. When it came to me. Moving. And. Changing my phone number s and emails. I kept them up to date I want my money Im poor. And need my money to make a better like for me and my kids. I have had family emergency. And. Did not have. Money. To. Help my family. Or. Bill to pay. I had to take. My stuff out of storage. I purchased $12,000 in BITCOIN on June 24, 2023, thru a Getcoins ATM located in **********, **. Shortly after making that transaction I realized I was the subject of a scam and called the Getcoin customer service phone number *************). I explained that I had been scammed and provided the details of the transaction. GetCoins asked me to provide certain paperwork and ID which I did. On June 30, 2023, GetCoins advised me that my refund had been approved but it would take up to 180 days to process the return. I have called or emailed GetCoins every succeeding month for an update and I can get no answers or my refund. Obviously, it has been way in excess of 180 days andI have now concluded that Getcoins has no intention of refunding my money. GetCoins belongs to Evergreen ATM LLC DBA GetCoins, the main office address is: **************************************************************. So I deposited money in to my GetCoins acct. around may or June. And um was told I have to wait till July ***** to receive my refund. Everything that ask me to send them I did all paperwork was back the same day they sent it me. Now here is about to be August 1 and they done changed there tune. Oh u got to wait 180. When clear on the website it state they make people that. Are rude and uncooperative wait 180 day and if u get ur paperwork in on time it will be refunded with in 30 days it has been also 60 days and I got nothing I been very polite and not rude. I have cooperated with these people anything they ask give them I can come up the day with my emu when I got locked out of my email my phone number I keep up-to-date like I want my money thats all I want, and I will close all my account with them afterwards.I just want my $26k I will be including all documents that they ask me. For. And everything I gave them and pics they told me to take with the documents they told me. That if I could print them out to rewrite some of them document and take a pic with what I wrong and sent back so Im in every pic with. What they told me to write my id. I purchased a bitcoin amount of $18,500 and $30,500 on the 02/08/2023 and it was successful and I got a receipt for both transactions. I waiting long and never get my bitcoin I had to call their helpline now they asked me to fill form and provide my documentation which I gave them all just to release my bitcoin but this people never returned and now it says refund on their website to a wallet that I dont even know and when I try to track the wallet with blockchain I see that my exact amount I purchased on there and I was just wondering whats going on and whenever I call theyll say theyll call me back and never will they call back and they bearly reply email which this is crazy. On 2/24/2023 I had a person call me claiming to be with *************** saying someone tried opening an account in my name. The *** would be calling me then this person called claiming to be the *** every showing that his number was the ***. Telling me that I would have to send them $10,000.00 for a lawyer because they was watching me and I would go to jail if I didnt and all my bank accounts would be frozen. To go to GetCoins machine and put the the money in it. I did it but when they he wanted me me to send the money to him with a gmail address I refused and told him to arrest me then. I then told GetCoins that I never sent it. They was supposed to refund it but they wont tell me how to get it out!! This has been going on for almost two months. I have called several times keeps getting kids that dont know nothing. They will not answer my questions I have tried different ways and cannot get it. I will take a check from them. We are talking about $9,900.00 dollars I am 68 years old I need it .Initial Complaint

On 23 MAR 23 ... I initiated and completed a transaction at a "getcoins" ATM located in ********** ** The transaction number is TX # : RXSHW3M9 The amount deposited was $4,000.00 OVER SEVENTEEN HOURS LATER THE BITCOINS WERE NOT DEPOSITED INTO THE WALLET DESPITE FOUR PHONE CALLS TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES
