The business is an insurance. Workmens compensation. The check is suppose to be bi weekly. They sent one for the month of November. The first check was received in the first week of November. The second check was received in the beginning week of December. The second check was dated for the week of November 13th to the 26th. They sent the check November 25th. After we contacted them multiple times. I have emailed multiple people including the supervisor for his case and have only received one response with no information about the current situation or a solution. I expressed my concern about them delaying payment again because with them delaying payment last time we went without food and things got shut off. They have pushed payments as far as they could before but we have let it go. It has gotten unmanageable at this point and far out of line. The gaps in pay are apparent.

I have been working with the ICW Group since November of 2023. Everything was going pretty good with the first Case Manager. She called to give me updates on my case, she spoke with me when she needed to provide important information, she tried her best to help me navigate this Workers Comp process. She was not perfect, but she was very responsive and provided as much guidance as she could. I decided to get an attorney because I was having some difficulty navigating this process and not being sure I was doing what I needed and not understanding how this process works. I was then assigned a new Case Manager, Once that happened everything went down hill. I have not received one call from her. She continues to treat me as I am a non human. I reached out to her supervisor and also filed a complaint with the company. I am still assigned this Case Worker with no change in how she responds to me. I am filing an official complaint with the BBB because I would like some help in getting a new Case Worker assigned to my case. I am not sure how this individual treats others, but I treat everyone with the respect they deserve and I do not want to work with someone who has no respect for me. You cant tell me they have my best interest in mind. I have gone through enough since November because of a car accident I was involved in and would like to have someone who can work with me and shows me the respect I deserve. I didn't really want to bring race into this because that *** not be the issue, but I feel that is playing a part in the way she is responding to me. I just want a new Case Worker who can show me the respect I deserve. Thank you in advance for your assistance.I have attached an email with some of our conversations via email. I still have not received a call,

I had an accident at work on 5/2/23 and have been on work comp so my work pay goes down to **** an hour and work comp is suppose to make up the difference. I decided to stick with my own doctors instead of works. Between then and now I have recieved only one work comp check. So now come Thursday 6/29/23 it will be 4 weeks since I have recieved anything from work comp. I have been trying to get in contact with them for almost 2 weeks now to find out what is going on. I have called the person handling my claim and her GM, I have left messages and they have been told that I am trying to get ahold of them and still have not been contacted back. When I did get ahold of someone else on 6/23/23 they told me that they needed copies of my retriction forms and pay stubs which I was not informed that they needed from me and that they would get in contact with the one handling my claim and her GM and find out whats going on, and I still haven't heard anything back. I tried again today 6/27/23 and no answers and no call backs my employer has even been trying to get in touch with them and has had no luck as well. This has put my family of 4 with one being a 2 month old baby in extremely horrible situation with having no money. My wifes paycheck we pay what we can but it cant cover everything. So our food in the house is almost gone can't buy our baby formula and there are things about to be taken away from my family cause we cant pay the bills. We have nothing left and can barely afford to put gas in our vehicles to even make it to work to earn money. I dont understand how people can get away with this, treating people like this and causeing families dire hardship.

My wife and I own a delivery business, we are contractors for a major shipping company in the U.S.We currently have roughly 10 employees. We use ICW Group for our workers compensation policy. ICW Group has a pay as you go program that allows you to pay your premium in real time to make sure you dont end up with a huge bill at the end of the policy term because you under reported on payroll. We currently utilize this service as we thought it would be a good idea we are paying what we need to so we dont get that huge bill at the end of the year. We recently got audited by ICW Group to make sure we paid enough in premiums. My wife and I were not concerned about this as we use the pay as you go program so we shouldnt have owed anything at all. When the audit was over, we get a bill in the mail from ICW Group saying we owe them almost $6,700 MORE in premiums and that we only had 1 week to pay it! My wife and I were absolutely dumbfounded. We input all of our payroll information every 2 weeks to make sure were paying what we should be. How could we possibly owe them this much? We reluctantly paid the bill after having conversations with them. They said there was nothing they could do and we would owe this money no matter what. That policy ended in Nov of 2022. Come to find out it was because of a glitch in THEIR system! We would report wages for all employees and hit submit. On the next screen 3 of our employees would list $0 reported! So now, fast forward another almost 5 months, their system was STILL DOING THIS! NOW WE OWE ANOTHER $4,000!! Over $10,000 they expect us to pay back because of their s**** up?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I reached out to all of the upper management I could, they all said the most they could do was set up a payment program and they would not help us at all with this bill. $10,000 is a TON of money for our small business to cough up. How does this happen???????
