    I did buy a package that was supposed to help me a court claim . I paid 88$ plus 9 for an e filling I never used .They send me a form that I previously filled by myself and a template . I can get both of them for free on court and online . They did not offer any help , I did all the work and I also never used those , because I could have done by myself . Instead I paid a person and filled everything correctly and I filled with civil court , not small claim ( Defamation cases are filled in superior court , not small claim court ) they dont help with civil claims. They refuse to refund . I call it scam and misleading. I will contact the state bar if they dont fix this

    In regards to your other concern, Squabble is a small claims e-filing and service of process facilitator. For our perfect paperwork package, we strictly provide forms for small claims. We can, however, file a limited civil case in ********** for customers who upgrade to our dedicated case agent package. We can assess the additional court filing costs required to do so and our customers can make a determination if they would like to proceed in small claims or as a limited civil case.

    I needed forms for a civil claim 

    ( defamation ) you wrongly claimed that you can help me , but civil claims are not held in small claim court , as the amount of money  is too small . You claimed in an email that you can help fill civil claim -so wich one is it , do you do civil claim or not ? Do you also have a lawyer to give those recommendations or you just give advices out?Because I m going to report you to the Bar of ***********I did not use your services and I would like a refund , please .

    The reason your claim was still processed despite including a defamation claim was that you alleged facts that could constitute other claims such as Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress. Now that you are indicating that your claim is solely for defamation, we understand your point and have refunded your fee in its entirety. We apologize for the confusion. Squabble exists as an entity to help the average person obtain justice through self representation -- the claims that get filed are vetted in the Triple-Check process primarily for administrative accuracy, but we do weed out pure defamation claims. You will see your full refund reflected shortly. 

    It may be hard to distinguish a particular company's values in today's world, but Squabble is a company set up by attorneys to provide access to justice and education resources for self-represented litigants. Our goal is to assist the consumer in obtaining their own redress  -- we have no interest in obtaining a user's submission fee of $96 should their claim be outside the jurisdiction of the applicable court. Squabble loses money on those types of transactions and such a package exists to provide a low cost option for those who wish to file themselves. Ethics in this vein are of paramount importance to us. That's why we've been able to become who we are today and why our user base features individuals and companies who filed dozens and dozens of claims with us.     I used squabble to help file a claim in small claims court. The charges me an extra ****** and did not provide any service or guide me at all beyond charging me more. I would like to be refunded ****** for their service since they did not do anything extra to help me.

    We understand Mr. ******** frustrations and concerns. We had reached out to him almost immediately to gather more information as to where we did not service his case properly; however he was not able to provide any additional information.

    A quick overview...

    Mr. ******* paid for our File the Case package and Service of Process which includes:

    -Providing legally compliant paperwork needed to file a case
    -Filing the case
    -Offering service of process at additional cost
    -Help preparing for court
    -Furthermore, his online account with us displays all of his current information and documentation, further instructions and notices, and a preparation guide. All of this is readily available at all times.

    While unfortunate Mr. ******* lost his case on merit and we do empathize here, we cannot guarantee the results of a case. From our terms of use:
    Squabble also cannot guarantee the success of your lawsuit as the facts and circumstances of each case are presented to the court by you, the pro se litigant and the result in any given legal proceeding is ultimately up to the court.     I contracted with Squabble on 9/19/2024 for a small claim case in Michigan. I paid $646 for their services which included a Dedicated Case Agent, and Service of Process. A Court Date of 11/22/24 was assigned on 10/23/24. On 11/16/24 the Defendant still had not been served, so I reached out to my Dedicated Case Agent. He let me know that they had no information from the process server they hired regarding attempts. I sent an email to Robert Miller, my Dedicated Case Agent? through their support desk (because they have no individual emails) on 11/18/24 @ 10:00a. I received no response. I followed it up with an email on 11/21 @ 9:45a with the info that The Court allowed me to reschedule to the next available date on 1/8/25 because of the failure of the process server. Again, I received no response. On 11/22/24 @ 3:23p, I received a general response telling me that they received my email! I responded that I would like a refund. On 11/23/24 I received an email from Ryan M. suggesting that I meet with "your Case Agent." I set up Google Meet for 12/9 @ 11:25a. On 12/9 @ 11:22a, I received an email reading "Great News! The process server was able to find and serve your defendant." The problem is, the "Proof of Service" was dated after the 11/22/24 court date, and it was still for the 11/22/24 Court Date. Dennis J. was the case agent on my Google Meet. The entire meeting was spent trying to unravel what had happened. While he apologized, he did make it seem like he was doing me a favor of "waiving the fee" to get another process server to serve timely. He urged me to set up another meeting before my court date to go over the case. I set up my meeting for 1/8/25 @ 1:30p (EST) via Google Meet - all done through the Squabble website. No one from Squabble showed up to the Google Meet. I emailed them to let them know, and received a general "we received your email" response. The Court date is two days later.

    Squabble is completely dishonest and fraudulent. They are happy to take your money, there is no phone number and no way to withdraw a case before a single human has even done any work. They said my jurisdiction would be where I live when it is not. It takes them forever to respond. Ive told them time and time again I want a refund as theyve done absolutely nothing and they wont give me one.

    Squabble works on cases immediately after submission since our customers expect timely service as some cases are time sensitive. Because of this, we have adopted a no refund policy of our package fees as is clearly stated in our terms of service. However, after review, we have reached out to Mr. ***** ******* offering a full refund as a courtesy. He will be receiving funds within 5 to 7 business days. Thank you for your time.

    On 11/27/24 I contacted Squabble to help with a smal claims case I wanted to file. I paid them $393.00, $368.00 for the plan +filing fees. The plan included, Dedicated Case Agent $368 Plus **************** of Process fees We take care of everything from paperwork through filing and service of process.     **** ******* emailed us on November 29, ************************************************************* We immediately responded same day clarifying why this would be the correct jurisdiction/venue however we cannot force her to file somewhere she does not want to. We asked her to confirm whether she would rather file her case in *************, where she resides, or in **************, **. We placed her filing on hold to be sure it would not progress and potentially file in the wrong jurisdiction until she confirms how to proceed. We never received a response. We have emailed her again today reiterating our previous email and informing her we're happy to continue her filing once she confirms where she would like to file her case. Thank you for your time.

    I paid for there services on 10/17/24 for $288.00 . I paid for them to draft and file for me after I uploaded the documents. There were weeks of waiting. I called the Ellis county civil court at located at ************ in ***** ***** and they stated they have not recieved anything under ************************. There clerk indicated that they do not accept filing electronically and I would need to file in person. hence Squabble has been lying to me. I paid $40 more to file the forms and $127 to the defendant to be served. It was filed and served on 12/10/24 as I personally took time off work to get this done. I am asking for a full refund since they did not meet or complete the service I paid them for. I would like this credited immediately to original payment method

    Our customers accept our terms of service when they use our services and part of that is reading directions and using our platform to submit documents required for filing cases. ******** made several incorrect submissions spanning over a month, dragging the process out unnecessarily. These submissions were missing signature/notaries as well as missing pages. After each failed submission we reached out with clear instructions as to what was needed and every submission she gets instructions on how to submit material. Furthermore, while true that some jurisdictions do not offer e-filing, they do offer other avenues such as physically filing by mail which is what Squabble often utilizes in these cases and what was used for ********** case. Again, these are laid out in our terms of service that the customer agreed to. We have already filed ******** ******* case when she had finally provided the material required.     I paid this company to file my court fee and they cant even do that I contact them thru email and dont get a response and its all just a waste of time this company needs to be shut down and every person who has been scammed needs to get payed back

    We filed ******* case (Jdm Excavation And. Concrete) in a timely manner and according to local jurisdictional procedures. Upon acceptance, the courts will then issue an invoice to pay filing fees to finalize the filing and finally furnish accepted court documents to the plaintiff (Jdm Excavation And. Concrete). However, the court never contacted us at Squabble and only sent correspondence directly to the plaintiff in the case (our customer). After ***** received notice from the courts, he did email us immediately on 12/09/2024 about the open balance which is the correct thing to do according to our terms of service. We responded immediately on 12/09 that we would research the issue and followed up with another email the next morning on 12/10 asking for the invoice or case number so we can locate the invoice ourselves and pay the filing fee. He never responded to that last email. He sent us a new email on 12/11 indicating he would like a full refund as he had paid for the filing fee himself. According to our terms of service, our customers are to forward all correspondence received from the courts and use and abide by our processes as intended. We have performed on our part but were simply unable to complete our service due to his failure to supply the required information and/or material during a procedural matter.

    Paid for a lawsuit to be filed. After I paid, they informed me that I needed to change the amount I was seeking beacuse they can't file a civil claim unless I pay more. I demanded a refund and they demanded I pay more. Over a month they ignored my emails and did nothing for my case and refunded 20% of what I paid. No customer service number to call and only an email that's hard to get a hold of anyone

    All of our one-on-one conversations are scheduled and done through Google Meet. I cannot provide the link to you in this public forum. If you email info@squabble.com you can provide your phone number and a time to contact you and we will either set it up or send you a link to schedule it online.

    We have emails from you from May that we have responded to. All we needed from you was to pay the additional filing fee that California charges for higher claim amounts that cannot be sent to small claims. We could have and can still handle the filing for you as a limited civil case. After that there may need to be some documents that are required to be notarized.

    I specifically told you in may that I didn't want to pay the higher amount and all you did was ignore my emails and then attempt to refund 80 bucks.  You should never have taken my 465 bucks in the first place knowing that you would need more money or couldn't file it. 

     

    I kept saying no thanks and refund... you guys filed noting bit kept almost 400 bucks of my money knowing that you weren't gonna take the case 

    And I have emailed that email. You guys continue to ignore .... I emailed the other day a good phone number. You are still ignoring me

    I used this app to file a small claims case. After paying for everything, they claim that they were unable to serve the business in question. Therefore, they are requesting even more money to try to serve it again! Seems to me, that if they would send a "signature needed" letter it would have worked! Very sorry that I spent/wasted all of that money and "still" have to do it all myself!
