I made the huge mistake of leasing with them last spring in the ********* area. There is a myriad of major issues which they just ignore.Four days after I moved in, the city code enforcement condemned all the outdoor spaces. Unit patios and balconies were now strictly forbidden as they were 'unsafe to occupy.' It's been 5 months and there has been ZERO movement on repairing those areas. And they just keep leasing apartments to poor, unsuspecting people like me. The song and dance you get during your tour? It's shameful. They just lie and lie to these people. In the 5 months I've been here, one manager quit, the other 'manager' was so rude, everyone complained so they shipped her off to a different property. Then a leasing agent quit. Now another leasing agent quit. They have the worst employees and the decent ones who seem to give a c*** leave. That speaks volumes about a company and it's upper management. This property wasn't designed to house families and animals. It was a Senior Assisted Living facility. The units have teeny tiny kitchenettes w/bar style sinks. They aren't meant for daily dish washing. The water goes EVERYWHERE, which is already causing mold and dryrot in a lot of the units. They bill it as 55+ community, but as long as one person on the lease is 55+, anyone can get in here. It is no longer a quiet, sleepy complex full of mature people. It is looking more and more like just another ghetto apartment complex. People have mattress on their porches, and other unsightly stored items. Some seriously shady people have managed to get in here and their FRIENDS are the vagrants who live in the park. So guess who has free fun of all the amenities the tenants pay for? That's right! The homeless from the adjacent park. Some elderly tenants have dogs - plural - but can't even get our of their chair. Where are those dogs using the bathroom? I shudder to think of the smell in that apartment.Bottom line -- BAD OWNERS BAD MANAGERS AND NOW BAD TENANTSReview from Organix P

I had a tour scheduled at ****************************** at 12pm on 3/16. Only in the area for a few days, this was the last tour we had booked before heading home. The phone was not answered when I initially called, however, got a return call back quickly. I'm usually very skeptical of properties that don't answer a call, but the return was quick enough I felt confident it was a good sign. I was told I'd get a call the day before the tour to confirm. Arriving at 11:55am, I contact the office since I can't find ******* the individual I was told we'd tour with. ******* tells me that she emailed me to cancel the tour and ask if it was still raining on that side of town. No, no it was not raining it was bright and sunny. I had to hold back laughter when ******* told me Pacifica does not allow her to tour in the rain. I'm from the *********** area where this is NOT common practice and confirmed with both friends, colleagues, our realtor AND the property manager where we ended up leasing from that this is not standard practice for ********* either. If Pacifica (and their representative(s) such as *******) shows such little care for prospective tenants, I'm absolutely positive it would be a complete nightmare having to live there. A customer facing employee who doesn't take the time to call somebody visiting from ***** miles away to confirm is honestly the most inconsiderate situation I've encountered with a property manager.Review from Brontia C

I moved out of my property located at ********** Apt ********************* on 3/31/23. Per FLA state statute, my deposit should have been returned within 30 days of vacating the property. I emailed Management on 4/28/23 inquiring about my refund and received a Notice to Impose on Security deposit of $700. Per the notice, I was being charged $50 for misc repairs (I requested an itemized statement of charges because nothing was broken), $85 for Carpet Cleaning (No stains when I vacated premises) and $36.30 for OEI water bill (paid in full; receipts available) leaving a refund of $528.70. Its been 2 months and I havent received a refund or itemized statement for the charges listed above. Being that Pacifica could not produce supporting evidence, I am requesting a full refund of $700 expedited immediately to the forwarding address provided. I have emailed and recently visited ************** location last Tuesday and spoke with ********************************* and she stated that the check had not been released but she would call me the very next day with her findings and she did not. I called again today and spoke to ***** and she said that she would text ********* and call me back, nothing. I want what is owed to me.Review from Rachel

I agree, if I could leave negative stars I would, this company is absolutely abysmal!! We have been renting for 3 years and they literally mess up everything! ALL of our paperwork, they don't send the proper paperwork in time, they lie, manipulate, and scream at you over the phone if you try to ask them to do their job. We honestly can't even have an adult conversation with our property manager she is so out of control. WORST service I've ever experienced, they are so extremely rude and have done so many illegal things but then they just lie and ignore us when we try to get the situation handled. DO NOT RENT FROM PACIFICA... IT'S AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!Review from Kathleen G

If I could leave a negative star I would. You cannot reach anyone in the Management Office on ******* Street. I had lived at the *********** property for one year when Pacifica took over. Within 3 months my rent statements were showing bogus charges that were not explained and I was told it was an error and would be fixed. This happened every month for a year. Always told it was a mistake and would be fixed. I moved after one year with Pacifica and they owed me for 5 days rent. They took out a room charge and sent me a ledger as an explanation. It took them 3 months after I moved out to send the refund check. I noticed the check was less the charge that I had questioned for a year. Still no explanation. Shabby business!!! Very sad that a company has to resort to this. Thank goodness I am able to move away from them.Review from Hortencia W

There is not an option for no stars. I have been asking management to help with a technical problem for months, on their payment portal/********** They say they can not help that I need to call ********** The company that runs the portal have told me multiple times they can not help me. Management has to call them and give them the account info, such as pin and type of program they use and other pertinent information. I called management today and was treated less than cordial. I'm aware my payments are late. I am ill and have a hard time keeping up with everything. I have emailed them for months about not being able to make an online payment and I am being refused the help. I was told they can not give me corporates contact information. I did a search for this company and found them. I have left a message at corporate and I am hoping and praying that they answer me and someone is able to help me fix the online payment account. If you pay for a service then you should be able to have the service work. For their management in *******, *****, all I can say is they clock in. Who is at fault I don't know, maybe by this mean I can get the help I need.Review from Lesley M

I rented from a property they owned from 2013 - 2022. A/C broke twice which took over 10 days to resolve and more than 5 days to even get a response. Their new leases are now tenant maintenance so they will tell you to fix and replace anything that goes bad in the unit, even the A/C. The communication with the company is atrocious and they are never helpful. I can go on and on about them however will be taking them to small claims court at this point. If you want to get anything done or have someone get back to you, start contacting the President and everyone else under him via email: disrani@Aisrani@Rsanchez@Gsmith@All under pacificacompaniesdotcom and PSDMdotcom. Continue to send your complaints their way and dont stop until you get a response. Continue to call their local number found online at their site and dont give up. Document and film everything even calls. People like this should not be allowed to get away with providing basic necessities to live as a property management company.
