On May 14, 2021, The Contractors State License Board filed a Letter of Admonishment to San Diego Roof Savers. Charges filed allege the business is in violation of state laws prohibiting failing to give name and address for mailing notice of cancel, no heading for a down payment, no space for the actual down payment, excessive down payment, no payment schedule heading, no monetary amount noted for work performed, no payment schedule- payment exceeds value of work, no approximate start date heading, no approximate completion date, no heading or notice as to the mechanic's lien, no notice regarding the CSLB, and HIC no notice title "three" or "five" "Day Right to Cancel."
