Payed bus fare on a pace bus. Ventra charged by $5 instead of $2.50. I called the ventra customer service number three times to request a refund. Did not speak to a person once. Got stuck in an endless loop in the options menu.Review from Alfreda S

Ventra needs to be regulated by the government because they aren't honest. I've taken so many snapshots of my account as well as my students and different amounts seem to disappear from cards, without them being used. Also why would a student pay full fare if playing a game until 8 pm or traveling to school at 5 am. to make it on time, for class that starts at 6 am.If we care about students as well as parents. Ventra should be monitored for honesty.Review from Noah L

This app has repeatedly chosen to not work for me. It appeared to have money on it but didnt work on the bus, making me use my debit card. It charged 5$ to my card for a $2.25 ride. They sent a Ventra card, but it didnt function. I had to break it in half. Now this morning I attempted to log in but it wouldnt work, Id push keys but other letters were written, and a bunch of errors came up. The bus drivers are nice but the app is continuing to malfunction for no reason. I am very dissatisfied.Review from Veronica P

The ventra app fells like a FRAUD, the times I tried to add funds to my childs school ventra card it sometimes has said unable to process payment so it doesnt add the funds I purchase but it charges the money I tried to add? It doesnt make sense and how convenient is that, its a scam, people if youre reading this it is best if you add your funds in cash because of the payment doesnt go through it will still charge your card when you speak with a representative or customer service person they say that you have to contact your bank to release the funds because they never charged it, it all added up to $30, my family and I are nearly starting to make earnings since the pandemic hit us and then this happens to us, its not fair, please just do cash and dont add your card information.
