DO NOT USE APARTMENT LIST! Every listing is a scam, look at all the other reviews. I even sent a message to apartment list to notify them and ask what their verification process isno response! Every apartment I tried reaching out to I found on other creditable sites (Zillow, Trulia, Streeteasy) but listed for sale rather than for rent. Not only that, I would get email responses asking me to fill out an application and provide sensitive information in order to view an apartment. Do not provide them with any info! My advice, do not use apartment list! It is not reliable and you will get scammed! And for apartment list, if you read this, shame on you! You keep saying you vet the people listing apartments but it seems like you are doing the exact opposite. Do better or close up shop! Stop participating in scamming people!

Baited me to provide info before seeing apt. I could see later that the listing agent was different from the apartment list site. The agent kept telling me he would reach out in. 2-3 hours so I then knew he took my info and the apt is not legit. Apartment List needs to get a better IT guy. I also see listings on a daily basis where the prices of apt in **********, drops then goes up like the stock marketApartment List Response

I was scammed over a thousand dollars using Apartment List. No matter how well designed and user friendly an app might be, it is utterly garbage and untrustworthy if the apartments being posted are fake and attempts to steal your money. I have reached out to multiple apartment listings and each of them have asked me to wire money to them along with PII. Apartment List needs to be held accountable for the egregious experiences multiple people have posted. This is utterly unacceptable and this app needs to be removed from app stores unless they can be held to real estate rental standards.Apartment List Response

They listed an apartment that is already rented.I didnt know, I applied and they want me to wire the 1st months rent.I talked to the person that actually just rented out the place.Now they keep calling me to wire the money.Apartment List Response

At LEAST once a day I get an email telling me they found a perfect match. I open it and NOT EVEN CLOSE! When I hit the Unsubscribe link, it sends me to my matchesI just now unsubscribe on my profile (for the 3rd time) but doubtful this time will be the charm.Apartment List Response
