I have canceled my subscription multiple times and still get charged on my credit card. Tried again and the companies website is not working.Business response

************************* from ****************************** has never contacted our company, ever regarding their account. Not once, by phone, email, snail mail or fax. Nor have they even attempted to contact the credit card company to file a charge back to make us aware there was a problem. When we contacted this client regarding this complaint, their contact number goes straight to voicemail and we have yet to receive any sort of correspondence regarding their complaint, to even attempt to resolve it. So Im sure you can appreciate the frustration on our part.
****************************** has a live job posted and they are currently using our site with candidates applying to their live job posting. ***************************************************************************************
****************************** have made zero effort in canceling their account. In fact, they have never logged into their account since its creation to cancel it and unfortunately for ******************************, we track all client activity including logins to their account with IP verification with the date and time stamp. ************************* from ****************************** has direct access to their assigned customer account assistant ************************* at ************. Yet, they have made no effort whatsoever in contacting us to request a refund or that there was any issue with their live account. So, for ************************* from ****************************** to make any complaint, that they have attempted multiple times to cancel their account or request a refund, is simply untrue. We have documentable proof that after creating their account theyve never logged back in to cancel it. So the charges are correct. Again, not a single employee from ****************************** has ever contacted our company.
As stated throughout the sign up process, and on the Terms & Conditions page (that requires you type 'yes' they the account creator understands and agrees before it will allow you to create an account), that they understand that they are responsible for the cancellation of their account and even gives them directions on how to do so.
All accounts remain active until the client chooses to cancel, which they may do so at any time. The Terms & Conditions page even include instructions on how to cancel. Also, on your account's homepage there is a link that says "Account options" simply by clicking there you will see , 'Cancel Membership'. We make it as clear as we possibly can that you have control over when you cancel your account.
Had this client or any employee from ****************************** contacted us, via phone ,email, or even by snail mail. They wouldve been given immediate instructions on how to cancel their account, in fact we would even walk them through the process. Whats so frustrating is that here the client has direct access to us never reaches out to us but takes the time to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This is a bit frustrating for us considering since our creation in **** we have seen over 4.5 million client companies and yet only 3 complaints in 26 years.Initial Complaint

I canceled this company's services in January 2021. I came to learn that the company continued to charge me for 19 more months after. I tried to cancel again on their website and didn't get confirmation until I emailed repeatedly. The company's portal is broken and refuses to refund my money. I never even logged into their after I canceled and had no activity, yet they refused to acknowledge this.Business response

This client did not cancel their account as they claimed and was shown un-disputable proof of such, but still refused to acknowledge they had not. As a company we find it a bit hard to swallow that the cardholders card would be charged for 19 months without them noticing. The fact is the client was aware of their live account and simply forgot to cancel it. This client did not try and cancel again as they claim, we reached out to the client and gave him step-by-step directions on how to cancel his account, which they did on Tue 7/12/2022 12:40 PM And then demanded a refund. At no time prior to this date did this client ever cancel their account. When we explain to them that the charges were in fact accurate and correct and showed him un-disputable proof to our claim, that they did not cancel their account as they claimed, they threaten to file a complaint.
Our portal is not broken, never has been broken, the client simply did not cancel their account as they claim, and no refund is due. Their claim that there was no activity is incorrect. There was nothing to acknowledge here.
When a client cancels their account it triggers an automated process in our system that does several things immediately;
- Our system sends a cancellation confirmation email to both the client and to our Client Support team here at SalesJobs.com, which includes information on the company name, the date the account was created, and the date the account will expire. The Subject line of the email reads, Confirmation of SalesJobs Membership Cancellation.
- Our system sends a second email to our Client Support team only that includes which reason the client selected as to why theyre cancelling at that time, as well as the clients Cancellation Comments that they typed in, if there were any submitted. The Client Support team can then respond to or follow up with the client regarding their comments when appropriate.
- Our system creates and displays a date & time stamp within the clients account so they know its been successfully cancelled and the date it will expire.
- In our back-end administration pages for our internal records it also displays the date & time stamp, the expiration date, and captures the ** address of the user performing the cancellation.
- The credit card associated with the account is removed from the recurring billing schedule and our Gateway providers records and cannot be charged again
This system is foolproof so that no client can claim that they canceled their account and continued being charged when in fact they didnt. There is no way for a client to think they cancelled the account, or say that they called Client Support and told someone at SalesJobs to cancel their account, therefore disproving any cardholder claims that they cancelled their account and continued to be charged.

I am rejecting this response because:I canceled the service on December 6, 2020. I asked the company to view any interaction I had with the website or even if I ever logged in and they refuse to share. They can notice that I never even logged on, so I don't know how I could have even use their service.
The cancellation is not "full proof"; systems have errors all the time. In fact, when I canceled the latest time, I received no verification as well.
The company does not provide any verification nor receipt and expects customers to trust them that the system is full proof. Since after December 6, 2020 I never used their service, it doesn't make sense for the company to charge me. They can validate I never used their service after that date.
Sincerely,

Unfortunately, there is nothing for this client to reject, period. If what this client is claiming is in fact true, then there would be thousands of clients making the same claim, the fact is, there isnt. We have thousands upon thousands of clients that come on and off our site without issue and have so since ****. What this client is saying holds no merit. I believe where the confusion might be with this client is, there under the misunderstanding that they have to log into their account on a regular basis for their account to stay active, this is incorrect, like all employment sites, clients pay for having a live account. A live account is an account that has not been canceled and is still active. Having an active account is using our service. If the client had canceled his account, he would not be able to log back into it because it would be canceled. The client would also be able to show their email cancellation notice, showing the date and time when they canceled their account and their expiry date. Which he cannot because, he never canceled his account as he claims. This clients claims that our company does not provide verification is once again false, we showed this client that he had a live account, and when he claimed that when he canceled his account on Tue 7/12/2022 12:40 PM that he had not received an email cancellation notice from us on that date, we personally emailed one to him directly, so there would be no confusion and verified with the client that he received that email and have the email correspondence between our two companies as proof to our claim.
So, for the client to claim that we didnt validate the use of our service is again untrue.

I am rejecting this response because:The vendor is incorrect. I never received any email both times until they forwarded it and they are blamed ****** which is unrealistic. There was no services rendered at all from the company. The vendor is validating that I never logged in. If I never logged in, how could I have utilized any service? Why did I have to pay for years of service without ever using the system?
Basically the vendor made me pay for years without actually providing any service.
Sincerely,
