I had one online virtual visit with a nurse practitioner. She prescribed 30 supply of an antidepressant. When I tried to arrange a follow up appointment the website showed no availability,I emailed and called Helix Medical because they have put me in a recurring billing "membership" which I know nothing about.I emailed them that I want not to be a "member" whatever that is.I told them not to bill me monthly. They made this up. I talked to them on the phone to reiterate no membership wanted and no billing indicated. They agreed.I told them my credit card company flagged them as a scam.Just now they emailed me that soon they will issue another monthly bill for $***** therapist was listed as in network with my health insurer named **************. This review is not for Helix MWR. It is for Helix VM (a company that seems to offer awful service, if the reviewer is to be believed). Helix MWR does not offer antidepressants or take insurance. In fact - we are an invite-only hormone balancing company. Our services come directly to the patient, to their home or office, coordinated by our mobile app. We send invites directly to CEOs, managing partners and business owners. If you have received an invite to join, consider yourself lucky. We would petition BBB to remove this review, but BBB will not remove any bad reviews against Helix MWR. This is likely because Helix MWR was founded by a minority (who still runs the company) and we believe that BBB is a bigoted organization that targets minority-owned and operated companies.

This place is a scam. They dont prescribe nothing or refill. All they do is send out fake referrals and charge your insurance company. My 1st visit I asked for them to refund the insurance no response. Im also asking the same for this second visit. I will also be contacting ***************** about this fraudulently activity

They misdiagnosed my condition, and proceeded to charge me for service's that I did not receive. When I contacted them and they agreed that they were mistaken, they still continued to charge me. After that, I have left multiple messages via email and phone messages, but they are ignoring me and keep truth to charge my checking account.

I chose to use this online clinic bc I was having a medical issue that was of a sensitive nature. I filled out a questionnaire that included pertinent information regarding my issue. I did not receive anything from the physician, no diagnosis was given to me..I never did get To speak Anyone at the clinic To tell me what Course of action To Take to remedy My diagnosis. I did then Get a notice from my pharmacy telling me that my prescriptions are ready...? When i finally found out what my actual diagnosis was I will shocked to see that the information I provided in the questionnaire was completely ignored. I could not get a hold of anybody at this clinic . Meanwhile I'm in discomfort bc of the lack of concern. If they have read the questionnaire they would have known exactly what my problem was. I emailed them and told them they needed to read the questionnaire that they had me fill out this time since i was never able to talk with anyone. And consequently the correct medication was sent to my pharmacy. This place then charged me twice. My insurance was supposed to be billed and they did not do that either. Even though I've sent them email after email And called the clinic, which is a joke, because nobody ever answers and nobody calls you back. They keep charging debit card , trying to get more money everyday. I have kept my balance at a minimum until this is resolved. What is frustrating to me, Is that I am willing to fight for myself and to file complaints. Most people would give up and allow themselves to get ripped off. I'm not the only one they are scamming. For every rat you see, there's another 100 you don't. So frustrating and sad. My mother died during this time and I was her caregiver. I had to call and Email every day. I would only get a new bill sent to my email.

Subject: Immediate Action Required: Dispute of Medical Billing Dear Helix Medical I am writing to formally dispute the medical charges associated with my account ****** that I have received for services that I did not receive. (March 2024)I want to make it clear that I never spoke with or consulted any doctor; I only made an appointment, which was not fulfilled, as I did not hear from anyone afterward. Consequently, I am not responsible for any charges related to this non-service.I have already reported this matter to my insurance provider and the ************************* as it appears to be a case of fraudulent billing practices. You do not have the right to bill me for services that were never rendered.I hereby request that you cancel this debt immediately and remove any associated charges from my name. Please confirm in writing that this debt has been resolved and that my record is clear.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.Sincerely,****** ******

HelixVM is fraudulent. On July 6th, I fell ill with COVID for the first time. I have severe health anxiety (and have been hospitalized for panic attacks/hyperventilation) and panicked. As such, I looked online for ways to get Paxlovid without having to go anywhere. HelixVM's platform required me to enter my contact, insurance, and billing information before getting any direction or info about the process or what to expect. In my fevered state, I wasn't thinking clearly and filled it out.I received immediate confirmation that ******** was covered by my insurance and would be ready to pick up from my local pharmacy the next day. Tomorrow came and I got a call from the pharmacy stating that it would cost $1,745! I told her to cancel the order immediately. I tried to contact HelixVM to cancel/close my account. Their website states that someone would call but nothing happened. I did not even receive basic communication beyond the automated insurance and rx confirmation emails. When I inquired about the $1,745, I received a cursory, likely AI-generated response about how canceling an appointment late may still incur charges. It was strange since I had never scheduled anything besides picking up the Rx (before I found out about the actual price after they misled me into believing it was covered). I suppose my filling out my information was "the service"? I canceled my credit card asap. This is a fraudulent company that takes advantage of people when their physical and mental faculties are diminished. They listed the service on my insurance claim as an "office visit," which is ludicrous not only because I didn't even speak to a human but because ******* is on the opposite end of the continent. According to the *********************************** this falls under the category of "phantom billing," which is described as follows: "billing for a service visit or supplies the patient never received."

This company is a scam. They will not treat you after gathering all your basic and personal information. You will get no phone call no communication whatsoever and then they will charge your bank account two months later. Beware

I provided my insurance to this company. I have three different insurance policies. They said they would bill all of them. However, they did not bill any of them, they keep sending me bills saying that I owe them this money. I wrote to them and said you need to bill all three of my insurances so that you can get paid. They told me that they would look into it get it corrected and I hear back in 3 to 5 business days. That was approximately 6 weeks ago. I've called in it and several emails since then asking them if they would please fix their error and bill my insurance. They don't respond. They keep sending me notices about my bill and they've even threatened collections. I'm not going to pay $700 when they refuse to bill my insurance is that I've been provided to them. I should have a $0 balance once they bill the proper insurance. On top of that, I get at least seven phone calls a day, seven text messages a day, and approximately five emails a day over a bill that I do not owe.

I initially went to the Helix Medical online portal for care on February 1,2024. I didnt receive any medical attention until February 4. After a day of waiting with no response I went to my doctors to receive care. Now they are asking for me to pay. Hmmm how can this be legal? I didnt use their services nor prescription.

To all reading - this review is not for Helix MWR - it is for a different healthcare portal called "Helix Medical online portal." We are not the same company. "Helix Medical portal" will take anyone. Helix MWR is an invite-only company that specializes in hormone balancing (we have stopped sending out invites - with rare occasion, our Founder will invite CEO's, job-creators, and managing partners). If you've received an invite to Helix MWR, consider yourself very lucky. Thank you all for reading!

I paid $95 for a consultation to receive medication. I received an email (attached) stating the prescription would be sent to my pharmacy the same day (as offered in their website). I then received an email stating I needed to go to Quest Diagnostics for multiple tests regardless of the acknowledgment that my medication would be sent to the pharmacy. I dont have medical insurance. And there is no reason I need to take these unreasonable labs since I e been prescribed this medication before. I either want the service offered or my money refunded Asap.

My husband got online to fill a prescription for me because we have been extremely busy and I have been out of it. Helix site said first appt free or some form of free trial. We filled out a bunch of questions and recieved an email the script was sent to the pharmacy. Today I recieved an email they are about to charge my card almost $100 I was completely unaware of. I checked the bill and they charged over $500 for a 5 min questionnaire that was done solely online and for someone to call or send over a script refill for ALLERGY medicine. My insurance paid $375 to this company towards the bill. At no point would I ever pay over $500 for a refill on my allergy medication. There was never anything anywhere saying charges would be incurred or at what rate they charge. This is very very misleading and extremely dangerous for those that can not afford a random $100 being taken out without authorization. I am hoping the someone will do something about this to protect people and force Helix to be open with their prices and not say something is free that is not free. I would like my money back and for them to not beable to do this to anyone else. I could have gone to a dr for a $30 copays. Why would I ever spend that on a $10 allergy script???

To all reading: This complaint is for a different company - it is not for Helix MWR. We do not facilitate allergy medication. We do not take insurance. This review seems to be for Helix VM. We are Helix MWR - we are an invite-only company that facilitates hormone-balancing. We have stopped sending out invitations for others to join (our Founder will send some invitations out, periodically, usually to business owners and CEO's - but that is on rare occasion). Thank you all!
