I have documents and emails from the warranty company itself, stating that CARS ON DEMAND never paid for my warranty. Which led to a cancellation. They breached the Customer contract and they are now committing fraud. I need help to get reimbursed for the warranty ALONG with down payment and punitive damages .Its now August 13 2024 Please! I purchased a used car from them on 09/24/2022 with a 2yr/24k mile warranty contract. When they filled out the paperwork for the warranty contract they made a mistake on the mileage. The car had ****** miles when I purchased it but on the warranty contract they wrote down ***** miles. ****** realized the typo until 2 years later. Fast forward to 1/29/2024 the car was having mechanical issues so I had to get it towed to my mechanic. When I dropped the car off, I gave them the contract for the warranty so they can start on the repairs, the car is currently at ******* miles which is still under the 24k miles for the warranty. The mechanic called the warranty company and they told them the contract had expired because I put too many miles on it. I explained to my mechanic thats impossible because the car was purchased on 09/24/2022 with 89k miles on it and it hasnt been 2 years and it hasnt been driven over 24k miles. They told me to give them a call to explain to them the situation. The warranty company told me to contact the dealership and have them call them so they can activate the warranty contract. Ive emailed them, called the dealership and even drove over an hour just to have them tell me the person in charge of financing isnt going to be available for another hour, I waited at the dealership and nobody showed up. I called the next day and got in contact with ****. She was supposed to help me but she just completely ghosted me. I have text messages and emails to prove it. My car needs work done and now I have to pay out of pocket even though I purchased a warranty contract that they suggested.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on February 6,2022 and offered to replace my windshield on my car, a private company hired through the dealership I purchased the vehicle from the windshield was replaced on February 14,2022 the job the wasn't done correctly water got inside my battery compartment and messed up my whole truck i towed it to the nearest Dodge Jeep Ram dealership on December 2,2022 because the truck had completely shut off nothing in my car was working 2 parts that my car needs are discontinued and for labor and parts it totals up about ****** in repairs the dealership found what started the problem and everything that was damaged and the primary problem after taking apart my whole dashboard they told me the windshield was not sealed right and water leaked inside the vehicle I contacted the dealership I purchased the vehicle from and the private company on December 21,2022 to explain what was going on, and they avoid as much as they can and say they can't help me because the dealership hired the private company and the one responsible is the person who did the job i contacted the person who replaced my windshield and he also tried to avoid me saying he did the job right and that the dealership i took it too is lying and I haven't been able to contact him since i have been paying for a vehicle that is not in working conditions for about 2 months now and i can't be paying for something that does not work and i also do not have the money to do those kinds of repairs and I don't think i should be held responsible for a job that was not done correctly. The dealership has offered no help at all and i have been struggling to get to work with no car.

They didn't smog the vehicle as required by law. They asked me to take it to a local shop to get the smog redone, and they would send me payment. It has been months and they haven't paid me back.

Date of Transaction: August 15, 2022 Amount Paid to Business: $4,500.00 Business Commitment: -Prior to leaving the lot a (!) sign was on the dashboard. I requested a *** diagnostic be completed before finalizing purchase. We are now finding out this may be due to the alternator. I requested a copy of the diagnostic report from *** and all repairs completed below as it was verbally agreed upon during initial purchase. -The Emergency Brake Latch is broken (dealership to fix) -The A/C is not working (dealership to fix) -The rear latch/handle in the trunk is broken (dealership to fix) - A Spare tire (dealership to provide) Company failed to provide proof of sale until 8/24/22 after numerous attempts and outreach. Nature of Dispute: I want the requested repairs be completed from the diagnostic as requested. I want a copy of the diagnostic and that it be completed with ***. The original promises that were to be done prior to leaving the lot I want completed as well. The $4,500 I want as a reimbursement for my time and suffering and the treatment I have received from this business. Due to them I have not been able to drive for work or compensated for the days lost. Attempt to Resolve: On Monday, August 22, 2022 I reached out to the company to try and resolve the issues. It was not until I advised I was going to seek legal counsel that they started to respond. My car would not start and they asked me to have it towed to the dealership. Prior to scheduling the tow I requested that a diagnostic with *** be completed upon arrival and a copy sent to me. They agreed and advised if there was a fee to tow to their location they would pay. On Tuesday, August 23, 2022 my vehicle was towed to the dealership and I was advised it would take 3 days and they would fix the original items requested. I have reached out on 8/25-8/26 with little to no response on my resolution. 8/26 I spoke to another representative only to find out it will take another week.

Consumer Response /* (-5, 8, 2022/09/13) */ Hello********, The dealership has not followed up with me in regards to the promises they said they were going to fufill. I now have voice recording of their commitment with no follow through. On August 31st, I went to pick up my vehicle only to find out that the alternator was bad and had to be replaced. This was advised to them on August 8th and they refused to fix it. They then sold the vehicle to me knowing there was problems with the vehicle. On August 31st they agreed to fix the latch to the parking break and handle to access the compartment in the rear. The AC was not working in which they cleared the filters. They did not want to give me copies of the invoices for the things completed on the car. I have experienced so much unprofessionalism and mistreatment from this dealership. Warmly, *********

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/28) */ hello. thanks for your time to solve the issue. our business practice is transparent. we sale cars AS IS, and we disclose the term of AS IS to our customers very clearly also we offer them to purchase extended warranty. we also disclose other terms and conditions of the contract. we do not push anyone to purchase a car. in this case customer was aware of AS IS purchase and was also offered to purchase warranty which he declined to. customer was speaking English very well and he was clear on his purchase. to take care of our customer and to respect the customer service we agreed to pay half of the cost to repair the issue, customer agreed on that as well, and later on after the car got ready they denied to pay their share. now that I read his story about being homeless I have empathy toward my customer and I will pay full amount of repair. thanks again for your time in this matter

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/07) */ customer purchased the vehicle back in 04/10/2022. in order the financing process to be finalized lending company requires customer to provide all required documents in order the bank to be able to verify them all. in this case customer provided his proof of income which the lending bank could not verify. then they decided to proceed with bank statement showing paystubs deposit or submit the copy of his canceled check with net pay matching which he failed to provide the required document, both bank and dealership tried several times to get hold of customer and he never responded back to neither dealership nor bank. in this case bank decided to reject the financing and return the deal back to dealership. still since then dealership tried again to communicate with customer and he never responded to us. at the end we had no choice but to recover our vehicle after almost a month while customer was driving the car and no communication. after we recovered our car back customer contacted us and he said he wants the car, I told him that I will keep the car for him and i will not sale it and i will wait for him to provide his documents in order his loan to be completed, I asked him to provide us with all documents that bank requested him to submit at the firs time, he again failed to go through the loan procedure while i kept the car in my inventory for him to continue his purchase process. dealership loose so much money and time when it comes to customers with this situation because they purchase car and they do not complete their financing process with the lending company and it leads to cancelation of financing process, dealer has to call and chase the customer so many times in order to get their car back, at the end dealer has to pay the repossession fee to get the car back and when we get the car back sometimes it comes back with so much damages which we have to pay vendors to fix the car to be able to resell it again. in this case i tried my best to support my customer and keep him satisfy, but unfortunately he did not cooperate at all. i appreciate your time and help to resolve the matter and i really appreciate it if you go ahead and remove this complaint against my business while i did all my best. thank you

I was interested in a car at this car dealership and was told to put money down to "secure my interest" in the car because there were other people interested in the car. I paid with my debit card, but no loans were applied for nor did I sign a contract that binds me. I found out the car had lots of problems with rust since the car was from out of state after I signed for a Borrowed Vehicle Agreement. I returned the car in about 2 days and wanted my $***** back. No one is answering phone calls nor has anyone there attempted to refund my money and its been almost a month. I have the receipts for the $***** attached.

Consumer Response /* (2000, 9, 2022/04/18) */ Company responded to my complaint for my refund. I got my $***** refund back.
