On 11/20/2023, I took my daughter to a CLEP exam at the testing center at San Jose State University. We were REFUSED entry and they chose to REFUSE to allow our daughter *********************** to take the 10 am English Literature CLEP exam. This was unfortunate and unprofessional on their part. We did exactly what they asked us to do. We brought the registration form which we previously paid for. We also brought our daughters student photo **. This form of ** was clearly listed as an acceptable form of ** on multiple emails from them. They didn't specify any requirement for the ** on their emails. Only when we spent money and got there did they suddenly refuse it and say it has no date of birth on it. We duct control that. And why didnt **** specify that requirement in the emails to us? We could have brought her passport! It's such a waste of time and money and stress on my daughter The university has a duty to honor the content of emails that are sent by their employees. That's a fact. We are human beings. If the university lists requirements in an email, they can't change it supplement those requirements after people arrive there.Who is supervising this department?

I am rejecting this response because: the response by the business entity is nonsensical and also non responsive because nobody is asking for student information or records. The issue is an employee of this business using this company's email system gave specific instructions via email on what a parent (myself) needed to bring to the testing center for their child to take the **** exam. Upon arrival and upon presentation of the items we were told to bring, a business employee refused entry and refused to allow the test to begin. This is unprofessional in more ways than can be counted. These actions caused us  waste time and money.

    Sincerely,
