    I brought a suede jacket to be cleaned on 01/16/2025. I was told the jacket would be ready for pickup on 01/23/2025. I paid in advance $60.00 and I signed a form stating that I took responsibility for the outcome of their cleaning. I called on 01/22/2025 and I went over to the business to find out the business was closed. I called the following day and I spoke to the wife of the business owner. The wife told me that she did not have a key and she could not contact her husband. My partner **** ****** called on 01/24/2025 and got the same answer from the wife of the owner. I am leaving the country for vacation on Tuesday and I really need the jacket. I'm visually impaired and I depend on public transportation. It's challenging for me to get to and from a business.

    I run a dryclean business in *********. I use Supreme Leather to get leather/suede garments cleaned. The owners name is ****. Supreme does pickups in our area on Mondays. On Jan 8th Jacks son, name unknown, picked up a leather jacket from our store in *********. I took pictures of the jacket before I personally gave it to Jacks son. He gave me a receipt. He took the jacket and left. Thursday Jan 11th I texted **** that I have a pickup which would regularly be picked up the following Monday Jan 15th for cleaning. He then called me immediately to ask who I was and again I mentioned that I have a pickup for the following week. He did not mention if they are closed on MLK on Jan 15th, It did not occur to me that it was a holiday either.Today, Tuesday Jan 16th I reached out to **** to ask if there was going to be a pickup as there was not a pickup yesterday which today I assumed was because it was a Holiday. **** told me no because he called me several times and I didn't answer so he didn't confirm it. I told him I received no phone calls. We verified my number and confirmed it was correct. I asked him if someone could pickup the jacket because my customer is expecting it. He said no, it will cost $40 for his driver to come and if I want to pay the $40. He continued to tell me he will not pickup until the following week. Then I asked him over the phone if I have any items with him currently and he said no. I said I will check my record as well and return a call to him if I do have something. Upon looking I found that I infact have a jacket that was picked up on Jan 8th and should have been returned yesterday. I immediately called **** and made him aware and he said yes I have your jacket. He continued with asking if I have a signed release, I told him I have already talked to my customers. He said talking is not good enough. I asked when I can have my jacket he said whenever I feel like dropping it. He concluded the conversation with he won't return my jacket.
