Hunter refuses to assist senior citizens in getting their devices operational. They have no desire to help me reset the device that came with the house we purchased. They transfer calls, tell me THEY are having tech issues and have not returned calls to the number we asked them to call. This is elder abuse

Purchased a pro c control panel from hunter a month ago and the rain gauge is defective and continues to turn the system off. I've called hunter over 10 times to get this fixed and their customer service is absolutely terrible. No one knows how to fix it and they have the most incompetent people working there.I finally requested a new control panel to sent to me which they said they would send but it hasn't arrived yet. Called back today and they basically hungup on me.

    Dear *****************,

Thank you for reaching out to Hunter Technical Support regarding the issues you've encountered with your P2C control panel. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced and any frustration it may have caused.

Upon reviewing your case, we understand that there are two separate issues at play: the missing jumper plate from your controller received from Amazon and the incorrect wiring of a rain sensor to your controller by the installing contractor.

Regarding the missing jumper plate, while we are unable to send a new jumper plate separately, we recommend contacting Amazon directly to address this issue. Alternatively, as previously suggested, you may utilize a jumper wire by connecting SEN 2 to Common to resolve the rain gauge issue.

Regarding the rain sensor wiring, we understand your reluctance to proceed without the jumper plate. However, we would like to assure you that using a jumper wire as a temporary solution is a common practice and will not compromise the functionality of your system. It is a simple and effective workaround until the missing jumper plate is resolved with Amazon.

We are committed to assisting you in resolving these issues promptly and ensuring your satisfaction with our products. If you require further guidance or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Our team is here to support you every step of the way.

Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention, and we do hope the instruction above assists you with resolving this.

The company and its distributors refuse to honor their product's written warranty. They state they changed their policy and will no longer honor the warranty that was in effect when we acquired the product. When we acquired the product (WR-Clik rain sensor) the warranty on the transmittor was 10 years. Our transmitter has failed and clearly reflects a 2015 manufacture date. We also have supporting documentation showing specifically that they warranty WR-Clik transmittors made before January 2020 for 10 years. We are well within the 10 year warranty. We have contacted the company's local distributor who refused to honor the warranty. Subsequently we contacted the company directly who also refuses to honor the warranty.
