My downstairs condo unit was flooded by the upstairs condo unit last Oct, 2021. Extensive renovation needed to take place as all of the drywall was soaked and the flooring had buckled. Kitchen cabinets were affected, there was standing water in my ceiling light fixtures, and the circuit breaker was damaged and unusable, preventing a timely repair. My insurance company, California Casualty, paid for a portion of the damages, and my *** (The Willis Management Company who deals with Miramonte) had someone (*******************) come to the condo to assess the damage. He did, and sent his information back to the *** and the end of Jan 2022. According to my insurance *** a reimbursement check has already been made by the ***, but they have yet to send it to me. I've been told by ***************************, the person in charge of my claim, that the Willis Management Group still has questions regarding the payment and says there will be a meeting in 2 weeks to deal with this issue. This 2 week waiting period has gone on since Feb 2022, and the meeting in 2 weeks never seems to occur. I've been patiently calling the *** and leaving voicemails since Feb 2022. No one at Willis Group Management, including the owner, ***** Willis, has responded to a phone call or voicemail from me. I can only assume they have blocked my phone number. I also believe, if this is the case, that they do not get my voicemails, detailing the information they claim they need. I believe they have disregarded their fiduciary obligation to me and need to send that check to me immediately so that the contractor can be paid for the work done on my condo. Last detail, I moved to ******, ** last Oct 2021, and the flood happened 2-3 days after I moved. It hasn't helped that I am in a different state, trying to solve this problem in **********. Please let me know how I can help you help me. Thanks, *************************************
