    I was a victim of a ******* secret shoper check fraud gift card scam I was given a fradulant check and asked to buy **** gift card I bought 4 $500 gift cards and was order to tex pictures of the card back to a number. Come to find out the check didnt go threw and the gift cards were empty I contacted **** gift card ?green dot costomer service and 2 after explaining my story they just hung up on me the third time they told me they couldnt deal with me and hung up

    Achieve closed my account last October 2022. I had a balance of $2,172.32 in my account. ********************** sent me a check in December 2022 for the above amount. I tried cashing the check through ******* and several check cashing entities with no results. I sent that check back to Achieve. Achieve sent me another check. I tried to deposit in my CHIME acct which is a Bancorp entity. They declined the check with no reason why?? I signed the check and now will probably have a problem cashing this check. I just want my money back. I need this money. It's been almost a year. There is no excuse for this !!!!

    I had an account witht he AchieveCard company that was closed with my funds in it. I spoke to a repersentative there who took my new address and advised me my funds would be sent to me in check form and now I can't get no one on the phone. The balance in this account was at $2866.65 that I need refunded.

Most recently, today 1/20/2023, when I contacted the company, I was hung up on several times after inquiring about these funds or asking for a supervisor who also hung up on me when I inquired about my missing funds.

    Overview of Complaint:

    According to ********************************* complaint, he states:

    Achieve card has closed my account, it was closed Oct of 2022. I have made several requests to the company trying to have the balance of almost $3000.00 sent back to me. I have been told on many occasions that the check was mailed but I have yet to receive it. Most recently, today 1/20/2023, when I contacted the company, I was hung up on several times after inquiring about these funds or asking for a supervisor who also hung up on me when I inquired about my missing funds.


     The results of Achieve Cards investigation are as follows: 
    This is the response of Green Dot ("Greendot ") to the above-referenced complaint. GO2bank is a ******************** that works with issuing banks to provide low cost banking and payment solutions including reloadable prepaid debit Cards ("Cards.")
    Following the receipt of the complaint,Green dots corporate office reviewed the complainants concerns. We appreciate the opportunity to respond and regret that the complainants expectations were not met.
    We received a response from Achieve investigation stating "AchieveCard closed on September 30, 2022, due to program closure. On December 2, 2022, a check for the remaining balance of $2,866.65 was mailed to the address on file in the name of *******************************. On December 28, 2022, the check was returned. On February 2, 2023, an AchieveCard corporate team member contacted **************** to advise the above information. **************** indicated that ******* was her maiden name and no longer has the same last name thats provided on her account. *************** also stated, she moved in the month of November 2022 and provided her new address of **************************************************************. **************** was advised that the updated information would be escalated, and a new check would be issued. **************** was contacted the same day to confirm the check was reissued to her new address in the name of *****************************, and to allow 7 to 10 business days to receive. Green Dot requests for the complainant to contact our corporate office directly for further assistance.

    Green dot sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience ********************************* may have experienced. Should ********************************* have any additional questions or concerns, he may contact Green dot directly at **************) Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM **************** Time.

    My achieve card account was closed on 10/19/22 I was told I will be mailed the balance funds within 45 days to the account being closed. Waited the time called the company and was told to wait another 14 business day that the check was in the mail . I waited another week contacted the company they told me the check was mailed out 11/28/22 to wait another week it may have been lost in the holiday mail. I waited two weeks called back I was told that it will be escalated to the hirer up team and they will get back to me with a call in ***** hours. So I waited another week still no call so I called the company back and they told me to just wait its been mailed but yet they dont want to give me a check number or routing number to check with **** mail for my check I just want my money its been hard behind on things due to my funds not being returned .

    On October 20, **************************************************************************************************************************** that they were shut down and then all of my files will be mailed to me within 45 business days Are patiently waited ****************************************************************************************************************************** November 28, 2022 I called back and they informed me that my check was mailed out on this day And I should receive it within 15 business days it is now The 29th of December that is close to 30 business days and I still have not received my check when I call the chief car company from the phone that is programmed to my account I do not get an answer and if I do the ******* hang up on me when I called from a number outside of my account they will answer the eggs for my information and once I give them my address they proceed to hang up on me again I am not sure exactly where my funds are but I really need help to retrieve them from this company they have $350.00 Of my hard earned money I was unable to do things that I need to do because of the situation can someone please contact me at ********** I need help with retrieving my phones

    I was with achieve card for over ******************************************************************************* a check for the 840$ I never got it then they also saidmy ssdi the next month would also be included so I'm out over 1700$ they now will still not answering my calls .     My husband had an account with the achieve card and on October 25 2021. My husband past away. I have been calling and they told me to email them his death certificate and our marriage license so they can send me what he had on his account. Still as of today they still keep giving me the same information saying for me to wait 2 weeks but never received anything. Its already been more than year and still nothing. Im so frustrated already with calling them and still have not heard or received anything from this company.
