    https://www.redlion.com/knights-inn/ca/san-ysidro/knights-inn-san-ysidro I stayed here in July 2022. I reserved a room for 5 days. When I checked in, I asked for a first floor because I had a big luggage and I did not see that they had an elevator. I went to the room and the whole place had mold. The living room ceiling had mold and the bathroom ceiling had mold. It was a significant size of mold that almost covered a great part of the bathroom ceiling. The chair was stained and the furnitures in the room were old and busted up. I recorded the whole room to show proof. When I told the front desk about the condition of the room, she got upset with me and told me, "Well, you were the one who wanted the first floor." I was tired that day and just ignored her rude comment. She gave me another room on the second floor. It was decent. I slept for one night and I started noticing things. I saw cockroaches in the bath/toilet room and the vanity sink area. Upon further inspection, I checked the pillows by removing the pillow cases and they were heavily stained from dried body fluids. I also moved the small fridge in the room and roaches scattered. I looked under the bed sheet and the bed is very stained that the bed is discolored to brown instead of white. I went to the front desk and the same person was there. I told her that I am checking out and would like a refund. All she told me was they can't refund me because I reserved it from third party. I called Priceline and told me they can't refund it that Knights Inn should be the one refunding me because they received my money. I contacted Red Lion also, the parent company of Knights Inn, and they wouldn't refund my money because Knights Inn is privately owned. It was a loss of money for me. But I hope nobody else stays here because it is very disgusting and not taken cared of.
