I booked blowout for 12/26/23 at 8:30 a.m. I arrived at 8:25 a.m. to see chaos of customers in the front, without any staff member available to check people in. There was ABSOLUTELY noone working except for one stylist, and she was already taken. There were at least 5 other people in line waiting, not knowing if they will be taken or not for the service they booked, and at what time? Customers were calling the customer service number, but the phone number is only for sales and so they could not help us with the shop. Further, of course if you call the shop, noone would pick up because I can see that there is noone at the store! The stylist called the situation "a joke," and no mangers were responding to her. I was taken for service 9:35, one hour and 10 min later after my arrival. While I received service, it was not in compliance with the terms and I called the shop to request a complimentary blowout for the next time due to inconvenience. I left 2 voicemails and emailed, and finally was called back 2 weeks after I submitted my email. I was told I will not be provided any compensation except for some add on of $15, but I dont use add ons and this is worthless for me. The person refused to offer anything else and hung up. I don't think that this is how customers should be treated. I request a complimentary blowout for the trouble. I missed my appointments on the day of service and I was late everywhere. This experience deserved compensation

I bought over 30 blowout vouchers directly from the DryBar store in Pacific Palisades shortly before the Covid pandemic. The Pacific Palisades location closed sometime during the pandemic. I called DryBars corporate office in ****** and confirmed that my vouchers were still valid and could be used at ANY location ANY time for the full value of a blowout, as clearly written on the voucher. There is no expiration date or value assigned to the voucher. I recently started using my vouchers at the ******* location and have been repeatedly harassed by the associates asking for additional payment. On one occasion, the woman at the front desk was being aggressive towards my mom and not allowing her to leave the store. My mom is 71 years old and battling breast cancer. She was left shaking and experiencing shortness of breath because she felt so threatened and abused. That same day, I noticed an unauthorized and fraudulent charge for $59 on my credit card which this merchant keeps on file in order to make an appointment . I have 11 remaining vouchers which I am planning on using. These vouchers are valid and should be accepted as full payment for one blowout each. I have been told that they are no longer valid. Again, there is no expiration date and no value assigned to theses vouchers which were purchased directly from the establishment, not a third party vendor.

I was vacationing *************** and was very excited to treat myself ********** to getting our hair done. I never received confirmation of my appointment so I did not think we had appointments. DryBar proceeded to charge my debit card the fee for one blowout ($55.) I am extremely frustrated with this company, as this same exact thing has happened at another DryBar location!! What a scam. I tried calling for a refund or credit and received no response. My bank would not refund me either so I am.NOT.Happy. I would not recommend this entity to anyone else. I called customer service MULTIPLE times and nobody every called me back after leaving more than one message.
