    - On April 11, 2024 ***************************** of American Hot Tubs sent me an invoice to pay for the INSTALLATION of a new hot tub controller. (see attached invoice)- April 12 I paid $1300 through ****** for this service. (see attached Text conversation with *****************************)- April 29th appt - ***************************** CANCELS appointment.- April 30th (rescheduled appt) - ***************************** CANCELS appointment - He Does NOT reschedule - May 5th - I call ****** and reschedule appt. We reschedule for Wednesday, May 8th.- May 8th - ***************************** CANCELS appointment. We reschedule for May 9th. (See attached text conversation with *****************************).- May 9th - ****** comes to the house, looks at the hot tub and says that he will have to come back to install the controller. We reschedule for May 14th. - May 14th - ******************** appointment.- May 20th - ****** says he has time and I communicate that I would like to set an appointment to complete the service. ****** DOES NOT RESPOND. The controller has NOT BEEN INSTALLED.- June 11 - ****** finally sets an appt to install the controller for June 21st at 7:30 - June 21st - ****** arrives over 4 hours later (12pm) than scheduled to install, looks at the hot tub and leaves without letting me know. He texts me after he left to say that the hot tub needs to be empty. He did not tell me this beforehand. I begged him to return as emptying the hot tub would take a small amount of time. He did not return. He told me that he would return the money I paid for installation. I asked him for a receipt for the controller so that I could see what the install would cost. No response - July 5th I sent another text requesting to be reimbursed. - July 6 I found the exact controller online with the cost attached and sent a formal email asking to be reimbursed for the remaining amount of $686.80 for incomplete installation within 14 days. - It turns out that this controller he left with us is the incorrect unit for our outdoor hot tub. It's for an indoor tub

    The address of the Owner of this company, ************************************, and complaint recipient is *******************************************. His Telephone number is ****************. I found his business from his website: *********************************. His email address is ***************************. I have also discovered another email for him: ****************************.

    Since filing this complaint, I contacted another hot tub specialist to fix my issue and found out that ***************************** (aka. ********) left us with a controller that is not the correct unit for an outdoor location such as ours and that he  has done this with other hot tub customers in the area that this new specialist has gone around fixing.
