I hired RM Builder Designer to lay concrete in a small section of my driveway. He was to remove the grass, cap off all sprinkler heads, and lay the concrete. After he gave me a quote, I specifically reminded him to cap off the sprinkler heads. He assured me that he would. This was such a small job, the work quickly completed in two days. I believe his brother completed the work. I should have checked their work before making final payment. A few weeks had gone by, and I turned on my sprinkler system and noticed water coming up from under the concrete. They only capped off one sprinkler head and left the other one uncapped and fully working. I immediate called **** to tell him what I observed. He told me not to worry because it was an easy fix. A couple of days later he sent over his brother, who looked at the problem and all he did was to turn off the main water line to that sprinkler head. The next day, I realized that water line also waters my trees and plants. I called **** again, he said he would send his brother. His brother came and told me another bunch of lies as to how they would fix it. I told them they need to break the concrete, cap off sprinkler head and re-concrete over that area. He said he would come back to fix it but refused to give me a date. I have since tried calling and texting **** and he refuses to return my calls. I believe he has since blocked my number. So now I stuck having to pay someone to come fix this problem. I should have checked to see if he was a licensed contracted. BUYER BEWARE! RM Builder Designer's information posted here is incorrect. His address and phone number are totally different than what's on the invoice he gave me.
