Yesterday, August 25, 2024, I was illegally towed sometime between 6:50 PM and 7:02 PM. I have documentation showing I arrived at a shopping center at 6:31 PM, a receipt showing I paid for my things and was exiting at 7:01 PM and a call log showing I made a call to the towing company about my car at 7:06 PM. I also have a photo of the empty spot my car used to be parked timestamped at 7:20 PM. It is illegal to tow a car from a public parking lot in ********** after less than an hour, even if it is parked improperly, as long as no handicap spots, fire lanes, or entrances/exits are blocked. None of those things applied. Additionally, the paperwork from the towing company has a falsified tow time of 7:35 PM. My location services shows me leaving the area by 7:31 PM, before the supposed tow time, and that was after calling and waiting for a ride to arrive and take me home. Calling the tow company, they refused to provide any additional information about the call to tow, time of arrival, or the photo that was taken of my car which would invalidate this false tow time.

On Thanksgiving Day, 11/23/2023, My 2016 ****** Juke was towed from the ******************************* parking lot. The location was ********************************* North Hollywood. This occurred at 9:54 am. The shopping center has several businesses located in the same area and there was no entry allowed from the main entrance on ************* due to a holiday running event. There was entry through the back alley. There were signs at a diner and *********************** that stated there was no parking allowed for non patrons. I understood this and parked in the ******************************* parking lot, which was closed and had no signs indicating that parking was prohibited. I parked there to watch the event at around 8:00am and returned to find my car was missing. Upon speaking with other people who parked there, we agreed there were no signs clearly visible at the paint store parking lot. My call # or transactions number is *****. I left a voicemail message three (3) times to the manager, *******, and have not had any call back. I finally emailed him few days ago and still haven't heard from him to discuss this matter. I personally feel that the paint store did not call on cars to be towed since they were closed on the holiday and feel that there was not adequate signage in the ******************************* lot. I believe that this towing company targets these areas to make money and this needs to be addressed. I had to take an Uber (with my dog) to get my car out of impound. The cost of the impound was $485.30

I recently had my 2019 Hyundai Kona Electric vehicle towed while parked at the side of the********** ************************. I was told that somebody had called in for my car to be towed, but both the management at the ************ apartments and the ******* and Rehab Center said that nobody had called it in for the car to be towed. I was told that the reason for impound was because of handicap parking, and I had never heard of green curbs meaning handicap parking. I parked behind the handicap accessible van signs. There is also a green curb in the back of the block in the attached photos, and you can clearly see that one of the two cars parked there do not have handicap placards or displays. The nursing home facility told me I was probably towed because this is the apartment property and somebody called it in there, but the apartment complex said that they don't call in cars on that side of the road because that belongs to the nursing home. There is also a handicap parking in front of the nursing home that is marked with blue on the curb. All of this is very confusing as to why I was towed and yet the other car that is clearly not marked as handicap that was also parked on a green curb was not towed. When I received a response to my photos and e-mail of this instance to Jon's towing, he told me that I was towed because I was parked on a private property, yet my tow ticket states that I was towed for being parked in a handicap spot. I don't understand why I was towed exactly, and if I was towed for an improper reason, I would like my $337 charge back. I have attached photos of the location as well as my tow receipt. I can also send our e-mail exchanges. I was parked a good distance behind the white car in the photos, and I do believe that the nursing home has security cameras as well that could be checked to validate that if needed. Thank you,
