On July 9, 2024, I spoke with a representative from Kaminskiy Care and Repair regarding a basic sheetrock and lighting repair in my kitchen. I received and accepted an estimate for a two day job to begin on July 18, 2024. This was the first time I had to take a day off from work. After the technician failed to arrive at the scheduled start time, I contacted the company and was told the technician would be there the following day. This was the second day I had to take off from work. The technician arrived and work began on July 19, 2024, and lasted approximately 8hours. After multiple emails, calls, and txt messages, the technician returned to finish the job on July 26, 2024, and lasted approximately 6hours. However, the job was left uncompleted. Once again I contacted the company multiple times over several days to find out when the job would be completed. On July 31, 2024, I was told that I needed to pay the invoice, which I had not previously received, before a return visit would be scheduled. On the morning of July 31, 2024, I paid an invoice in the amount of $2,171.54 in full. I was told the technician would be returning on August 5, 2024. This was the third day I took off from work. I received a phone call from the company informing me that the technician called out sick and would not be returning until August 8th. This was the fourth day I took off from work. On the morning of August 8th, I was informed the technician was still out sick and nobody else was available to finish the job. After multiple emails to the company's customer service manager, informing them that I was a disabled veteran left completely in the dark with no kitchen lights for over 5 weeks, and needed my kitchen put back together. There is still no resolution. I had to hire an electrician which cost $710 to wire in kitchen lights as I was left completely in the dark. I am now seeking a new plasterer to complete the job. I have pictures to support the incomplete work.
