  I received a bid on 8/30/22 from MNR Transportation (AKA M & R Transportation) to transport a car from ************, ** to **********, **. The bid was for $500, plus there was a verbal agreement to reimburse the trucking company for a $100 port fee required at the pickup location. I paid $200 on 8/30 to Royal Auto Transportation through PayPal to lock in the contract (M & R Transportation and Royal Auto Transportation are apparently sister companies owned by the same family and they seem to co-mingle business). This would leave $400 payable COD when the car arrived in **********. Delivery was scheduled for after Labor Day weekend. On 8/31 I asked for an update and they indicated the car had been picked up. On 9/2 I asked for specific payment information and the reply was only "getting the info now. Cash payment always acceptable". I asked again on 9/5 for more detailed info as I was getting concerned about the lack of information or documentation provided, and they said Eenursha Auto Transportation (trucking company they subcontracted for driving) would be contacting me. On 9/7 Eenersha contacted me and informed me the amount due was $1100, not the $400 I had been told, and they would be there in an hour. ******* at M&R avoided my calls. She texted back that I had to pay $1100 - $1300 total less the $200 deposit. I showed her the $500 bid and she was evasive. Eenersha showed me their contract with M&R for $1100. ******* indicated ******** was being vindictive and would take the car to storage and charge punitive storage and redelivery fees if I didn't pay now. I finally reached ******* by phone and she claimed it was a mistake and that she would make it right "even if it comes out of my next couple paychecks" and strongly advised I pay the difference. Since that conversation, ******* and all other contacts at M&R / Royal Auto have avoided my calls, texts, and emails and offered no refund of any kind even though they claim it was a mistake, not fraud.
