He overcharged me about $300 bucks to replace a fuel pump on an old van I broke down in. I am asking for $233 to be refunded back to my credit card.

We did not overcharge to replace his fuel pump and fuel filter.  Attached is the invoice with his signature that he approved the work.  Also, attached is the **** auto parts print out showing the part number of the fuel pump we installed and the price. We are a family owned business that has been operating for over 20 years and we treat everyone with respect and honesty.  We always provide high quality service and parts that are warrantied for 2 years/24,000 miles.

I am rejecting this response because:

It is quite obvious he knew I was stranded and could not go anywhere, so he knew I had no choice but to sign his invoice. I have received a call

from **** from ****** of **** Repair. I suggest the shop just let it go. The pump he put in is also $100 higher then the most expensive one I saw at Napa

or online, and it may be defective as it makes a lot of noise now.

    Sincerely,

Again, the customer was not overcharged or taken advantaged of,. If in true, he is having issues with the NEW fuel pump that was replaced , that fuel pump has a nationwide warranty for 2 years/24,000 miles and that information is on the work order that was provided to the customer.  **** from the *** ******* of **** Repair) stopped by to discuss this complaint against us.  I showed **** what we did, the cost of the fuel pump and **** told me that the case was going to be closed as the customer was not overcharged.

I am rejecting this response because: **** agreed with me that most shops do not include a diagnostic fee

of almost $200 on top of the repair. My van still sounds like a loud submarine. I suggest you stop wasting what little lifespan we both

have and let it go.  No one charges almost $900 for a fuel pump on a 25 year old van. You are a *****. You sold me ****.

    Sincerely,
