            Today my husband got into a car accident at 3:45 AM. The police came in to tow my husband car. The tow truck arrived at 3:50 AM. The tow company charged $869.00 for the tow. We picked the truck up and complained about the tow. They charged us for 2 hours of towing service. The service was only 1 hour, not 2 hours so they overcharged an extra hour. We are willing to pay for the one-hour service not the 2-hour service. The complaint took in the dictation of BBB rep **** P

            September 2, 2023 My vehicle was towed while I was out of the state on vacation. I returned late on a Friday night and was assured multiple times over the phone that I could pick up my vehicle at 9 am on Saturday. They quoted me $446.88 plus $115 per day for storage. Total of $561.88. I verified this amount with the woman on the phone twice. This person also told me they open at 9am and to call when I was on my way. I live over 40 minutes from the tow company I called and left a message when I left the house and tried to call several times along the way there. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, there was nobody to meet me or even answer the phone. When I finally got through I was told that "his guy" would be there around noon to give me my car and that their business is never open on Saturday. After having no choice but to wait, three hours later I had to call again. The same guy told me it would be another hour. Then AGAIN he told me it would be 2:30. If I wanted the car, I could wait, or they could just "charge me the storage". his was a holiday weekend meaning Tuesday would be the earliest "regular" business hours.The guy I spoke to 3 separate times finally showed up in his tow truck with his wife and 3 small kids riding shotgun. No car seats or seatbelts for the kids! There was never another guy to meet me. He took a photo of my driver's license before he would let me come through the gate. When I got in the yard, my car was parked right next to his office door. In addition to the $451 I was quoted for the towing, and the storage fee, I was charged a $300 "gate fee" that I was not quoted, nor was it posted anywhere. This person scammed me out of $856 for towing my car I wasn't even driving 1/10th of a mile. When I pointed out that the fees aren't posted nor was I asked and I verified the amounts twice, he said "I can just keep your car, or you can pay me. It's your choice."

            My motorcycle was towed and according to the report filed to the police was only held for one day. When I went to pick up my motorcycle I was told the charges were for 10 days of holding and I received no notification if it being towed to begin with. I was charged $1500 for everything when the total fee shouldve been $400. When I brought this to their attention I was told to take it ** in court.
