    I cant stand the taste and emailed asking to return my unopened packages but was told they cannot accept returns or exchanges. I have never heard of a company not even offering exchanges. Its interesting to me when I went to check the return policy it had been updated a couple days after my email to return.

    Id like to clarify our return policy, which has remained consistent since GEM launched in 2018. As a real food product, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges due to health and safety regulations. While we recently updated our *********** to provide clearer answers to common questions, the return policy itself has not changed. 

    After reviewing our correspondence, I see that you reached out to request a return due to the taste of the product. Our team explained the return policy and offered to send free samples of other flavors to help you find something that suits your preferences better. Unfortunately, we didnt receive a response to our follow-up emails, so we took the initiative to cancel your subscription to avoid any further charges.

    We genuinely want you to have the best experience possible with GEM. If theres anything else we can do to help, please dont hesitate to reach out. We value your feedback and will use it to continue improving our customer experience.

    My daughter and I love the taste. We never swallowed pill vitamins faithfully, but we can't stay away from these. I understood this to be a nutritional boost, and not a full multivitamin when I ordered. Actually that is just what I wanted. I eat a lot of healthy food, and worry about vitamin doses being too high with my already high vitamin foods. I feel like my skin and hair roots look better. I do feel more energy, digestion and wellbeing on these. Days of high stress, I will take two. I tell people to try them, everybody loves them, except one person absolutely hated the flavor. Passionately. However the majority very much loves the flavor. To each their own, I find them a higher price, but at this point am willing to pay as I feel the benefit as well as enjoy taking them. I have pushed out, canceled, and changed delivery on the site with no problems.

    After being unsatisfied with my order, I went to the website to cancel. To access your account they send you a code when you go to login, theres no password. I attempted this 3-4 times and never got a code. So I sent an email which was returned as undeliverable (4 times trying different variations to be sure). I attempted to call- number not in service. I attempted via social media and was unable to send. I searched the people on the site and those seemingly affiliated to reach SOMEONE and only ran in to dead ends. *** called my bank to stop all charges and get a refund. Gross the lengths people go to just to scam people. So disappointing and sad.

    My first order went missing (never was delivered) and my interaction with customer service was a positive one. They sent me a replacement package. I didn't realize how little of the vitamins I'm deficient in are actually in these products so I cancelled after just getting my first month. $55 a month for a vitamin that doesn't meet my needs really isn't a great idea...at least my bank account didn't think so. As far as taste - I got the standard ginger (I think they're ginger) Gems. I didn't want to waste so I took the full 4 pouches I was sent for the first month. One a day. They really don't taste that bad to me. I gave them 4 stars because my experience with the company itself was positive, the vitamins taste ok. I removed one-star just because of lack of essential nutrients (more Vitamin D, iron, no omegas, etc).

    I was very excited to try this product as I'm looking to up the nutrients in my diet. Though the flavor sounded strange, the ads are pretty convincing that they're tasty. When I tell you that I nearly threw up each time I tried to consume these, I mean it. I finally decided there's now way I could do this to myself daily, so I filled out a cancellation for my subscription. To my surprise, I was charged again a month later. I reached out twice to see what happened and they said both times that they didn't see a record of my cancellation. Granted I'm not the most tech savvy person, I assumed when I cancel, it's recorded. I also filled out a survey that was emailed to me, giving my honest review. I could have sworn they had a satisfaction guarantee, but maybe I imagined that. Either way, I'm now out nearly $80 between the two orders and stuck with a product I can't eat without getting sick. I doubt I'll get a refund or resolution, but if nothing else, this is one more place for me to express my disappointment with this company for others to see. I was the guinea pig for a large online health and wellness group, so I will be sharing my experience there as well.

    Never and I mean NEVER buy from this company. I got completely scammed for $55 after purchasing their ginger bites when they were half off on a whim. I was in the market for a multivitamin and I thought why not try. When I ordered them, I immediately canceled the subscription knowing I would never be okay with paying for their original subscription price of $55 a month (an absolute ripoff, which I knew from the start hence why I bought them when they were half off and canceled IMMEDIATELY). I am 100% positive their website is made to make it seem like it didnt register my initial subscription cancellation as I was charged again later on for $55 which I didnt authorize. Once I saw this, I went to check my subscription status on their website and what would you guess, their website conveniently didnt register my original cancellation request. I cancelled it for a second time and even canceled it through PayPal which was my payment method used. I reached out to their customer service which, mind you, is a steaming pile of garbage. It took many back and forths of brainless responses on their end to reach the conclusion that they were straight up lying to me and manipulating me, as confirmed by PayPal as I ended up talking with them. If they respond to this review Im sure they would say oh, well checking back at our records, we see that you had canceled the subscription after the charge had been processed already, therefore there was no time for us to cancel the order, we apologize for the confusion. Have a GEM-tastic day! WELL OBVIOUSLY, even though I had already canceled it right after the first purchase!! Mind you they charged my account at 3 AM in the morning!! Of course it had enough time to process, I was dead asleep for another 6 hours!! anyways, I never was able to receive a refund as they, again, lied, stalled, and manipulated me into thinking there was nothing they could do which was simply untrue. Disgusting ??. Karma is real and they deserve it all

You were also instructed by our team about our processing time and the best window to cancel, in addition to the reminder we sent via email 3 days prior to your order being processed.However, the team has issued a full refund for this order.     If I could give zero stars I would. After making a 1st purchase, of the turmeric product (whIch I purchased to help with my chronic illness), I vomited after the 1st bite, due to its overpowering flavor. I requested a replacement flavor, and to return the leftover product (having eaten only half of 1 piece out of 30). Initially, I was told I would receieve a replacement. But, after 4 emails they finally told me I would not get a replacement, and they kept trying to push me to buy a different flavor than what I wanted. But, I hadn't gotten a replacement to my 1st purchase (as promised), nor was there a refund. By the 3rd week as "compensation" I was delivered 7 pieces of the flavor I specifically did NOT want. The next month I received the highly advertised flavor I had initially requested- and it turned out to be justvas nauseating. To not waste any of these products I had paid over 60 dollars for, I offered to family and friends- butbthey all found them equally disgusting. So, I have stopped trying to get some kind of compensation for a product I couldn't consume due to NAUSEATING flavor (half a bite of the turmeric, one nauseating smell of tye "compensatory" 7 pieces of lemon raspberry, and 1 bite of the chocolate). I've finally just been trying to cancel my membership before the next month's delivery, and the process is being made OVERLY difficult, with NO email confirmation, and no customer service number to call. One of the WORST experiences EVER

Please accept our apologies and to make up for this, we've refunded you the full cost of your original order. To detail your experience, we see that you originally ordered our Citrus Ginger bites and that you wrote in on 5/15 to let us know that you did not like this flavor or the product. Our Customer Service team wrote back to you on 5/17 to reinstate our refund policy and offered to send you 5 free bites of our Lemon Raspberry flavor. You wrote that you would prefer to try our Cacao instead and we unfortunately did not get back to you until 5/30 when our Customer Service Supervisor took over the ticket. She shipped out the Lemon Raspberry for free and noted that you had switched to the Cacao on your own for your next shipment. She wrote back to you on 6/17 to ask which flavor you preferred and we never received a response. We recognize that you experienced long delays between emails with us, which is not up to our standards. Additionally, our Supervisor should have shipped you the Cacao for free instead. We have taken this feedback to our Customer Service team to make sure this does not happen again in the future.
